Great introduction to English pubs for two first-time Aussie travellers. Good beer, good service, and a good feed. What more could you ask for. Check it out whenever you are in the St Pancras/Kings Cross Station area.
Had a great pub experience. Stopped in with my family for some hearty pub food and beer and it delivered exactly what we wanted. Really nice staff and food was delicious!Food: 5/5
Didn't eat but had a beer while visiting from Arizona. Cool little place for a quick pint!Service: 5/5
Had a wonderful experience here. The pub was clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I felt very welcome and comfortable and there was an inclusive and respectful environment for a lime and soda drinker. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Mabel's Tavern to anyone looking for a pleasant and inviting place to spend an evening. Also, the lore was interesting and there were cool pictures on the walls.
Nice British bar had the fish and chips which were really tasty. Washed down by a traditional British beer. Nothing fancy about this place. We've got some simple food and a simple beer, this is a good placeFood: 5/5
Great staff, very friendly and patient with cask beer questions! Lovely looking menu, though the kitchen was closed when I was there 2200. Comfortable neighborhood pub.Food: 5/5
Large, comfortable pub serving Shepherd Neame beers. I've had drinks here on several occasions over the years, but recently ate for the first time. The haddock and chips was very good. Excellent chips. There are some outside tables, which are sheltered.Food: 4/5
This was the highlight pub by far in the Euston / Kings cross area. The cask beer quality was superb, the bar is well stocked including well known craft & keg beers & well stocked for other drinks, the staff are friendly & the pub had a great atmosphere. I did not get chance to try the food menu, but the food looked very good & was clearly being enjoyed. The pub has both inside & outside seating & although football was on the screens at time of visit, it not lost it's local pub feel.
A definite chain feeling to the pub with the standard food and beer options. A free craft beer options but keeping small independent ones. Some good deals on food and drinks on the chalk boards. Plenty of seating and televisions available showing live sports.Service: 4/5
Wonderful pub just off of Euston Road. Because it was a football Sunday they had a limited menu. Disappointed I missed the Sunday Roast. But the chicken wings and Ploughman's sandwich were delicious. Friendly service! Vegetarian options: Ploughman's cheese sandwich
