While going through the checkout today, I was served by the cashier Melissa. I was in a hurry and hoped to complete my shopping quickly, but was made to feel very very uncomfortable. Melissa appeared to take strong umbrage at my desire to move things along, whilst she continued chatting with a friend who had already completed her shopping. Her attitude was intimidating and for me very unwelcome!nnI appreciate that staff should be friendly, but I believe there should also be consideration for customers who are simply trying to get on with their day as quick as possible. I hope you can ensure all customers are treated with courtesy and professionalism, regardless of how long they wish to spend at the till.
I usually avoid this M&S as there’s no dedicated car park, and the pay-and-display outside is a big drawback. The shop itself is small and limited, so I mainly use it as a drop-off and collection point for online orders.
Convenient parking, quality M & S products as expected.
Not too big, not too small. The staff are always friendly, helpful and upbeat. Regrettably none of the checkout tills were occupied during my last visit, so I was obliged to use a self-service checkout - not a huge issue, but I prefer to support and perpetuate local jobs.
Always great food products some at unbeatable prices. Their own brand of mushroom, chicken soups are great. And at a unbeatable price of 67p
