Well what can I say about Tunbridge Wells MG. Fantastic team, everyone was so welcoming and helped me out with test drives for two cars that I was interested in. Jack who dealt with me showed me the ins and outs of both cars and was very helpful. Couldn’t fault the service provided at all. In the market for a MG4 EV, placed a deposit with a dealer far far away, until I decided to look on carwow for any dealer with one coming in their allocation sooner, Dan responded to my inquiry saying he had a Grey SE coming in about 3 weeks! I decided to go for it paid the deposit and got the paperwork immediately. I had a few question leading upto the delivery date and Dan was quick to respond. On the Collection day Dan was there to personally complete the exchange and he is quite a nice guy who was knowledgeable enough to answer any questions. He showed me around the car. Car has been dream except for a few niggles which I hope MG would sort out sooner rather than later i.e persistent settings, lights off during pre-warming of cabin. Other than that, great service from Tunbridge wells MG.
Picked up our MG ZS last week and we love it. Kelsey was fantastic and really helpful. When we first made the order she worked with us to find out was was the best product for us and kept in regular communication throughout. She has a brilliant car saleswoman and makes you feel very relaxed and at ease. An overall very pleasurable experience with MG Tunbridge wells.
We bought our MG electric car from Tunbridge Wells MG. Ordering process was very easy and their price was the cheapest when we’ve ordered. And once the car was with them, their communication with us was first class. Dan from the dealership was amazingly helpful on the day when I picked up the car. He helped with so many things, from payments to insurance etc, and the car was updated to the latest software and ready to go. That alone made it very easy to recommend them. Very happy with the car too
A really easy and friendly car buying experience..... I made an enquiry via Autotrader on a ZS EV. Got a call back from Kelsey who was able to talk me through details of the actual car and crunch some finance options for me. She even sent me some additional photos of the car via WhatsApp. A test drive was arranged and I was able to take the car to try on my regular commuter journey. When I took it back, there was no pressure and no hard sell. Kelsey was able to provide prices and delivery dates on colour options and quoted me a fair price for my part exchange. In the end, a deal was done and I purchased the demonstrator that I'd just been driving! On pickup day, it was fully valeted and fully charged, ready for me to drive away. Four months later, I've done over 6000 miles in it, with no problems at all. Great car!
I am due to pick up my new MG Trophy Connect car on Monday. Jack Madgin the agent we have dealt with has been superb throughout. From the point of first contact for a test drive to delivery which has taken a while due obviously to current supply issues he has kept us fully informed. The ordering process ran smoothly and he explained all options and aspects fully including our trade in options. Outstanding customer service. Looking forward to Monday.
Hi all. We have had exceptional service from Dan at this MG dealership. What can I say, we came to a very fair price and Dan honoured a deal that was struck months ago. He managed to find the exact car, exact spec and colour. This is our 3rd MG ZS EV. The current Trophy version does the lot. Stepping up from the ZS Exclusive we will use all the added features of the new car. The trophy is giving us in addition: Ability to tow a small trailer trips to dump and camping, long range over 250 miles real world, vehicle to load and a few small extra touches like rear mid seat headrest and armrest with cup holders. Thank you Dan for a great job. Great deal and perfect customer care and handover.
We met Jack who is the best and knowledgeable sales executives giving us lots of detail and constructive information. Recommend to find him before you make your first EV car acquisition.
Today I picked up the MG ZS we had purchased through this Dealership. From the very start of our "new car" research-to-purchase journey, this MG Dealership was great, with special mention for Jack. We discovered the ZS EV via online reviews and walked in without appointment upon a weekend. Jack was very helpful in helping us figure out what we did and didn't like about the models we were shown, and it was an easy thing to arrange test drives for multiple vehicles for a few days later. Jack was very helpful in guiding us through the different purchase options PCP, Outright etc, which can all be very daunting if you haven't done this before. Being able to flexibly discuss options and recommendations for options without pressure was also great. We never really felt awkwardly obliged to commit to anything, which likely actually helped us make the decisions by ourselves in favour of MG and the ZS. Today's pick up and part exchange of our old car was also relatively smooth, with the odd couple wrinkles being prospectively resolved quite soon. Overall, I would highly recommend MG and Jack as a dealership to explore your options and perhaps find something that's just right for you.
About Jack Madgin: In the middle of that really cold spell, our 2019 MG ZF Electric surprisingly ran really low on battery and my wife was stranded in Dartford, 30 miles from home and with only a few miles remaining. A very serious situation both for her and the car. I phoned MG, and the receptionist passed me to Jack. I’d never spoken to him before. I grew up in the days of lead acid batteries where sulphate could accumulate beneath the plates and eventually short out cells so I expected a catastrophic battery failure. He very kindly explained about the temporary degradation of this battery performance in very cold weather. He also mentioned the heating improvements to the latest cars that provided a reassuring confirmation. So that explained the cause of the problem, but how could she get home?? He solved that too, by recommending the app Zap-Maps. That came up with a charging point only a mile away from my wife. She got the car there OK. She had to wait for a couple of cars in front but was then able to put enough charge in to get home safely. We couldn’t have done this without Jack and we are very grateful to him for his expertise and kindness.
