Always a great place to go and listen to great music. As a place to go for just a drink then there are a lot better places. This is a live music venue hosting from big names to tribute bands. Even the tribute bands are top class musicians. I have been there several times. The last time was to see an American rock/blues musician called Samantha Fish. This place can get packed out and it is best to get there early to get a good place to see the stage. Although you're not that far away from it where ever you sit or stand.
Having never been to the Brook before, I wasn't sure what to expect. Approx 600 people venue, across 2 floors. Plenty of friendly staff behind the bar. Martin Kemp was DJ there that night, so needless to say it was at max capacity. The atmosphere was fantastic. I had a great night and will deffinately return.
Went to see Hayseed Dixie and the venue is fantastic. Easy to park & get in. Bar service was acceptable given how busy it was and toilets clean. No matter where you stand there is a clear view of the stage and acoustics were perfect for the gig.
Good venue, went to see Easy Life. Great band, and great lighting crew. The bar staff were also very friendly and the atmosphere is really nice there.
Recently saw Marcus Mumford here and previously Dermot Kennedy, such a great venue for intimate gigs. Both in conjunction with Vinilo, lovely staff all round. Felt completely at ease being a solo gig goer.
Love this place. If you enjoy tribute bands and on occasion the real thing, then this is the place to go. I've never personally had a bad night here. Highly recommend
Such a fantastic live music/gig venue and it has a great vibe to it. You’ll mostly catch tribute acts but they’re usually top quality. Plus the sound quality in the venue is just so fantastic and will compliment any performer sound incredible. Also the staff are extremely accommodating, especially when you accidentally spill curry over your tickets and destroy them. Support local venues!
Been here several times for gigs. There's always a good choice of different music genres to choose from & prices are reasonable. Highly recommend that you wear light clothing, it can get very hot in there! Music can be super loud, could feel the percussion pulsing in my chest on our last visit. Mainly standing room with a few seats upstairs & at the back of the venue. Worth checking out if you've never been.
Great place to go, enjoyed seeing Mainly Madness. Try and get there early so can see the stage from upstairs.
Great venue. Bar staff are polite and efficient and the security staff are friendly and very professional. Watched the Dub Pistols and was one of the best gigs I've been to in years.
