I had a negative experience, spent close to £900 and most of the issues which I went in for were still not resolved. You would not expect your car returned to you with the driver door card hanging out because they could not be bothered to get £4 worth door fitting clips. That is very sub standard service. My car had a front suspension noise and they wrongly diagnosed and replaced the front spring and lied to me that it's sorted and said they have checked it. On my drive back home the noise was still there. Drove back and they got me booked in to have it checked for next week. Next week the manager was not in staff had no clue that I was asked to come in. Given another date, after 4 visits and spending 2 hours travel time on each visit after a busy day at work they say there is nothing wrong and they have thoroughly checked everything. All this despite me showing one of their senior mechanics where the noise was coming from and he hearing the noise on their own courtyard and admitting that it was still there. They fitted a new ac fan and the whole dash and steering wheel vibrates when on high setting, charged me £350 for that! The only reason I went there was because of the Bosch Brand. Big mistake. My local neighbourhood mechanic diagnosed the suspension noise withing 10 mins and replace a faulty ball joint for £80 and the car is finally sorted! Avoid at any costs!
Took our Renault Koleos in after trying several garages and others saying they wouldn’t touch it. These guys agreed to take a look, clearly identified the problems we took it there for split flexi exhaust, and problem with anti pollution sensor and rectified them both quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable price. We wouldn’t hesitate to take it back or use these guys on any car in future.
Highly recommend this place, after many disappointing experiences from other dealerships and local mechanics, this place is definitely the best for great service, wide knowledge on different vehicles, honesty, and price. Me and my husband have been taking our cars here for over 2 years now and are extremely happy with Chris and Andys service. These guys have huge experience and take their time to explain things, which I really like and appreciate. Definitely deserve more than five stars.Thank you Chris, Andy and rest of the MB services team.
I strong advise anyone with a decent car not to go here, my worst experience dealing with a mechanic ever, took my car here to get fixed as it had a leaking radiator problem ended up waiting 9 weeks to get fixed they kept coming up with excuses about parts being ordered then when I threatened to contact motor ombudsman due to poor service and not delivering their promised time for delivery i got my car back with a broken navigation nodule which i had to return and they had to fix, 2 week later had a coolant leak which I believe they didn’t fix properly, ended up breaking the oil filter which had to be replaced causing me to wait another 5 days when i got the car back they broke my coolant tank hooks which also had to be replaced with a new coolant tank. Then my coolant light was still on even though the problem was fixed and no obvious leaks I’ve had to look online to find out the problem and turns out they didn’t even plug the coolant sensor back in. Claim to be Mercedes/ German car specialist and have no clue what they’re doing, over charge, rush work and poor service. Never go back there again. My advise is deal with someone who’s transparent and honest and will also even advise you to get parts yourself so you just pay labour because these will charge you vat twice on parts. I’m going to get my car checked over by another mechanic just to check if all the work they did was up to standard I don’t trust them after that many mess ups
Great no-nonsense mechanics who are pleasant to deal with. I recently had some major work done which other garages had failed to diagnose. They quickly fixed it and got it through an MOT with no fuss whatsoever, at a very reasonable price. My car hasn't felt this smooth in 100,000 miles, and it had even been washed when I got it back. I'll definitely be using them again as long as I live in the area.
Family run buisness for many years now, watched the boys grow up to be competent mechanics like their dad as well as being very polite and professional young men.chris has worked there for at least 20 years and knows his stuff..no corners cut with these guys..safety first in every aspect. Price wise.. very reasonable for a job always well done.
Took our Polo here for a full service and brakes replaced. Were very helpful when my wife dropped the car off and when she rang up about it. I went down to pick it up and felt these guys were very friendly and happy to spend a few minutes to discuss things they noticed about the car exhaust blowing and rear tyres low on tread. Would come here again and felt the cost were very competitive so combined with great service, I am very happy! Many thanks!
Took my wife's car there lads very friendly. And seemed very capable in all aspects of what they were doing and saved a fortune on the main dealer prices. Same service but cheaper oil is oil and breaks are breaks. Don't need massive posh facility to change pads and oil would highly recommend
My 10 year old diesel failed its MOT on emissions at 4.4 so I took it to these guys for a Terraclean, I was very dubious that it was going to work but it was either that or scrap it. The mechanic found my turbo pipe had also lost a seal. He did the cleaning and I fitted a new seal. I took my car back to the test center after giving the car a long drive up and down the M1. It sailed through at 1.2. Cheers for a great service.
What a wonderful garage to deal with. They fully explained the work they would be doing. Professional in every way. I have no hesitation in fully recommending this group of people. Fantastic. Car is 100% improved on performance. Thankyou very much.
