A moderately sized modern theatre in a residential area of Belfast. Spacious public areas with a good bar for pre and post performance drinks. The actual theatre space that we experienced had good acoustics and all seats had a clear view of the stage. The seats were a bit small, but that’s my only moan.
Really enjoyed My Christmas Carol. Lyric staff were friendly and helpful to guide us to the seats. Play was great and wonderful to see cast greeting us when leaving
Great show. We eas visiting Belfast for new year so A Christmas Carol looked a good choice plus wanted to give our 16 yesr old son and his girlfriend a bit of culture. Great show plus they had their picture taken with Mr Scrouge himself. Lovely theatre and great performance deserving a standing ovation at the end
We went to see A Christmas Carol by the Pottinger players. It was excellent. Adapted to be set in Belfast with lots of witty local references. Such talented performers acting, playing musical instruments, moving scenery and props. The set, lights and sound were superb. Definitely worth it
The lyric has always been my favourite place in Belfast, and recently we went to see A Christmas Carol, the show was absolutely incredible and the set design was magical! loved every second. The service of the Lyric staff was impeccable, we had a problem getting there because our taxi cancelled due to the traffic in Belfast, we arrived after the show had just started but the staff did their best to get us seated immediately, making sure to sneak in during a loud moment, this was so amazing because a lot of places would have told us to wait, I have to say the staff going above and beyond like this really made our night!
