Just finished a week at Lyons gate. Our static caravan chorus was exceptional. Really clean and tidy and extremely up to date and comfortable. Hats off to Phil and Mandy who were welcoming and friendly throughout as was Roy another member of staff. As a keen fisherman I managed to fish two of the four lakes and though fishing was a bit quiet during the day probably due to the last few weeks change in weather we did catch everyday and good size fish as well. My best was a 15 lb carp and a large bream which wasn't weighed. People living on site were very friendly and helpful about fishing tactics. Overall a very enjoyable stay and will look forward to returning in the future.
Well what can I say, I never do reviews but this time it is well deserved. What a lovely place! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They help my son by lending him extra fishing gear. A real community feel. Lots of fish to catch. We Would not hesitate to go back. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to go back nature.
