Lovely friendly campsite.  Caroline welcomed us with a smile and continued to do so throughout our stay, lovely and helpful.
Lovely friendly staff.
Beautiful scenery around the campsite with wonderful walks. The murder mystery hunt is wonderful and gives you the opportunity to see parts of the village you wouldn't normally see, the children loved finding the clues.
Lovely walk to the village, ( the walk back up the hill is steep but good fun with wonderful view). Wonderful holiday.

A nice spacious campsite, we had 4 dogs with us and despite being high season we were given a really large area away from the majority and close to the dog walking area. Everyone very friendly, campsite and facilities kept very clean if a little dated.  It is a no frills campsite (which is what camping is all about) only 2 showers for the entire site but there were never any queues, with 4 more being built. There were lots of very noisy children which didn't worry us but might not be everyone's cup of tea, however, it was summer holidays and to be expected. More of an adult camp site as not much for children to do and not very close to any 'child' activities or beaches. Although the kids that were there seemed more than able to entertain themselves in the wooded area, also spacious enough for them to ride bikes, scooters, go carts, put up pop up tennis/badminton nets etc., I would definitely recommend this campsite if you are looking for something away from the crowds, it was friendly and relaxing and lots of nice walks for us and our doggie friends. We had a lovely time. Thank you very much.

Excellent campsite with warm, friendly hosts. No frills camping with no shop but perfectly good showers (50p) ,toilets and w.up areas. Some fantastic walks available especially into Cerne Abbas. Welcome pack has lots of info in it. Top notch.

Lots of Hills on the site, still waiting for the new shower block to be done. Needs some sort of drainage system under ground. Got waterlogged and rained out, actually broke down on site due to the ground being so waterlogged and had to get AA out. The views how ever are lovely, not much in the way for young children to do on site nor is it very disabled friendly.
