We ordered last night and it was the worst chippy i’ve had in my life. I was actually sick it was that bad after like 3 mouthfuls. We ordered the salt and pepper box meal for £16 everything was cold and dry and tasted burnt. Chippy has changed from Luke a while ago and the quality has gone down hill. I son’t understand how anyone thinks its acceptable to send out what arrived.
Ordered chow mein plain noodles turned up with chicken on top not even chow mein noodles would not recommend if you want nice food, if possible would give no star very disappointed
Used to love Lukes but must be a new chef I got special chow main and there was no meat but chicken and ham in it and it was dryer than a jed jackos furry teeth
Would give 0 need to lose their attitude and own up when they mess up. I wouldn’t call up if everything was ok. Will never use you again robbing peoples money and not delivering what they ask for shocking should be embarrassed running a business that way.
Absolutely elite establishment. The curry chips and rice is out of this world. And Cos and Louisa are the best patrons, impeccable service from them two each and every time. We’ve moved out of the area but we drive back as often as we can just for this chippy.
Got a donner burger meat was descusting soon as I eat it I threw up the chips were undercooked
Love the food. I had fish and chips and my partner had the meat & potato pie, chips and gravy. The fish was freshly cooked and it was delicious. The staff are lovely and friendly too. This is our chippy of choice now and would recommend it to anyone.
Absolutely fantastic chippy. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a positive experience. The chippy is immaculate and the food is always really fresh and tasty. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a chippy meal! Would rate it over 5 stars if I could.
Awful place the chips are soggy and the lady who served me was wiping her face as she dished out the chips. Chips are paler than an Englishman who never goes sunbathing.
Best chippy for miles. Lovely food! They do the best salt and pepper meals. The owner Luke is always willing to cook to customer requirements, great customer service, staff always polite and happy. Great value for money and the shop is always spotless! Everyone in Merseyside give Luke and his amazing chippy a visit!
