Our first time walking a section of the SW Coastal Path between Hope Cove and Brixham. I used Luggage Transfers for our four day walk and they were brilliant. A very easy service to set up and every day our luggage was waiting for us when we arrived at the next overnight stop. I added an extra bag during the trip and it was very easy to do over the phone with the office. I highly recommend this service and will definitely be using it again for our next trip. Thank you!
Luggage transfers not only allowed us to walk lighter but worry-free. Our accommodation was contacted so we knew when pick ups were scheduled, and bags were ready for us when we arrived. Wouldn’t do it any other way. We could just enjoy each day.
Let's start with the positive. The company brought our luggage to the agreed points during our trip at the agreed times. To the negative. We traveled to Cornwall with two travel cases from Osprey that were absolutely excellent to transport. At the airport, these had a total weight of 38 KG, as we were only allowed to take a maximum of 20 KG per person. After the first transport, there were two red notes on the suitcases with the note that they were too heavy, but we could book additional pieces of luggage. We learned this on the phone and I assured that the luggage was not too heavy, because it was weighed with calibrated trolleys at the airport. On day two was then no note on it. On day three again. This time the suitcases should have weighed a total of 44 KG. Again we made a phone call. So that we have peace on the other day, I then asked what would cost us a piece of luggage more. This could not tell us exactly, because this is a matter of the travel agency. This meant then about 15 euros per day! And we still had 6 days! Therefore, I then loaded a few "heavy" items, such as liquids, etc. with 2.3 KG in my backpack, which I dragged with me during the hike. The other day rest. We thought with it would finally be quiet. One day later.... Again allegedly too heavy. And that although we had weighed the things the morning before in the hotel. We phoned again and asked the company that the driver should meet us in the morning and we weigh together. Although we were at the bed and breakfast, he just quickly picked up the luggage and disappeared. Then that evening it was too heavy again. Another phone call - same game. The last three days it was not too heavy! Then return flight. Our luggage: 38.5 kg, because we bought a little something in London after our hike. The discussion about our luggage has unfortunately really disturbed and annoyed our trip. Unfortunately, so some of our items have spent more of our hike with us than we would have liked. This is a pity and the company remains in our bad memory. We do not know what carts they use and found it petty to discuss so. Sometimes it was about 500 grams. If you use scales that are not calibrated, it is quite explainable that there are discrepancies. But this is not how you should build your business. A good service looks different to us. We therefore advise customers to bring their own scales and, if necessary, to weigh them together with the driver so as not to pay too much money without justification. In future, we will therefore find out in advance how this works when we travel. In addition, we will first give other travel providers a chance to create a great trip for us.
3rd time we’ve used Luggage Transfers and quite simply they are fantastic. Totally reliable, timely, you walk, they do the rest and the bags arrive before you do. Highly recommend. Thanks guys

LT Ltd proved to be an excellent choice for our luggage transfer needs on a recent SWCP hike. There were no glitches other than one of our bags being overweight : for one transfer and we found them to be very flexible and responsive to last-minute schedule changes. Highly recommend.
A great company for moving my rucksack on. I was hiking from St Ives to Falmouth on the SWCP. They were very efficient, even when I altered a few destinations they rescheduled it with no fuss or bother. Highly recommend this company.
