Having used Autocabs for many years I have found them very reliable. Downloaded App and used it for first time today and it informed me about the driver and make and reg of car which is very helpful. App said driver was Mohammed and was in a Toyota and gave his registration but a different car showed up with different driver which for me isn’t a problem but had my wife been on her own she would have found this stressful. I thought the office would have updated the information on my app to tell me exactly which vehicle was assigned and thus going to turn up. Other than that no problem with Autocabs and look forward to using you next time
They guy was nice until the end. He waited for me 2 streets down and never called me. Luckily I noticed on the map and walked to him he had no idea where he was going even tho he had a GPS and wanted me to tell him where to go but I'm not from around here so I dont know where I'm going myself. At the end when he finally decided to use his GPS he kicked off at me saying that I need to learn where I'm going because sometimes they don't know. I'm not sure why they even bother having a GPS then.
Very unreliable services. We pre booked our morning drive to the airport on the previous day, and we explained that we needed a good car and a driver who knew how to get to Heathrow. We also asked to pick us up from home at the exact time. Besides, we paid this trip in advance. They did everything wrong they could. The car arrived 10 minutes later, and after my second call to them asking where was our PRE BOOKED and PRE PAID car; the answer was that if we wanted our car in time we must hav called earlier, because the traffic's heavy and everyone needed a car; never mind, ours had been pre booked, according to them, "BOOKING GIVES YOU PRIORITY, BUT DOESN'T GARANTEE THE CAR"!!!!!!!!!! That is what I was told by an operator who was very rude and shouting at me!!!!!!!!!. If you can, book any other service but this one.
Rang autocab after taking lucky 7 for years but couldn’t get a taxi with them due to snow but I was so impressed with the service. Drivers were so nice and the cost wasn’t sky high. The booking service and the phone check ups they do are amazing. Very good service.
Such a shame. Used this company via uber for a while but phoned tonight to get my parents taken to their hotel and was appalled. Driver phoned once he arrived to check times and I said they'd be 3 minutes as walking down high Street but got angry and said it would be too long and had to move on. Luckily he stayed but the way he spoke to me was poor. Parents were also lectured about taxi times on their 2 minute trip that cost £11. Appalling.
Had a taxi last night no problem. However 7pm tonight I had a knock at the door with my id which I wasn’t aware I lost at the time. I was basically held random outside my door and made my girlfriend and 2 year old child feel intimidated. I would have rang the taxi company and collected myself once I was aware. The driver was not my driver from last night so unsure how they have my address
Great service Quick pick up Helpful driver. Considering I’d just spent the weekend fishing and the driver was happy to pick up me and fishing tackle. Great customer care
First time used. To take my aunt home from Stone to Longton. Found the service professional. My aunt arrived home okay and was also happy with the service.
Want to bless the driver that picked me up again. So full of joy and knowledge. Hope he’s blessed forever.
Cab arrived early and very friendly & efficient driver. I use these guys regularly and they never disappoint. In fact I got to the station in time to get an earlier train to London, so double thumbs up!!!
