Absolute bobbins. Ordered at 18.30, arrived 21.05. Lots of false promises it was "next". Driver left it on the doorstep outside, good job we have a ring doorbell and were aware. Food not in a good state when it finally arrived and one meal incorrect. Edible but poor.
We love the food but delivery has been appalling last few weeks. Today we waited 2.5 hours with kids and then the order was wrong.
Just tried for first time. Worst takeaway ive ever had. The rice was like a soup meats were all chewy and fatty and the chips were cold. NEVER AGAIN. AVOID!!!
I love a good Chinese, been shopping around for a while and finally found somewhere that is consistently delicious. I have had sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper chicken, crispy shredded duck, crispy shredded chicken, sausages, fried rice, bbq sauce, salt and pepper chips to name a few. All where by far the best I have had in Southport. Nothing swimming in watery sauce, the sauce is thick, not over done, the veg is done nicely meaning your chicken still has that crispiness when it arrives. I have not tried the beef as not my usual go to. However I have not been disappointed with any aspect of their menu. I am so glad I have found this place. The meat is of good quality too, definitely prepped and stored correctly unlike some other places. I intentionally made sure to order several times before preaching this place to friends. I have NEVER left a google review before, but this place deserves it. 10/10.
We went here for the very first time tonight and I ordered chicken in black bean sauce with peppers and fried rice, my partner ordered satay chicken with fried rice which was very spicy, so be warned, if you like spicy food. Good portions and delicious. We would recommend this little gem to anyone
Genuinely surprised as I've had low expectations of takeaways in Southport or ainsdale area. However the food was a good price and came earlier than expected. There was a delivery charge of £1.80 but the food was hot and most of the dishes where surprisingly good. The chicken with ginger was amazing and I wasn't expecting it to be my favorite as I'm not a big fan of ginger but it had a good taste. Most of the dishes where not too gloopey and had a nice taste. The salt and pepper chicken was a little too salty for my liking that's why I'd say 4 stars and not 5. The duck and panacakes came with a lot of duck and was hot and tasty. I'd recommend of you want a Chinese you try this place out.
1st time ordering from Lucky Garden, Birkdale. Very impressed and will order again. Had mixed combo starter, chicken satay skewers, noodles, rice, chips, chicken black bean and; sweet & sour. All very tasty. Came within the hour as promised, hot and fantastic driver social distancing.
My first experience at the Lucky Garden and wow it was the best Chinese food I've ever had in Southport. Delicious food, which was piping hot when delivered. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning. Punctual delivery, 40mins as quoted by receptionist. Can't fault it at all. Very happy customer. Enjoy!
Tasty meal just a little disappointed in meat quantity could do with a little more. Only got 5 pieces of beef in Chinese meal. I wanted food late at night and was glad I found this Chinese chippy was open until 11pm Mon Wed Thurs Fri Sat and 10.30 Sunday closed Tues. All other local chippys were closed at 10pm so I was made up to get food at 10.45
Rang order at 20 past 9 for delivery, waited an hour to ring back to find out they hadnt even starter it and would be 15 mins before they did. Just because thier driver went to churchtown. Not exactly an hour away. Basically if its late dont order. Cant tell you anything about food as didnt have any
