This is our fish and chip shop. The reason is simple, they do really really good fish and chips, at a reasonable price, the staff are always friendly, and the curry sauce is delicious (bear in mind, hot does mean hot, but it's really delicious). Two thumbs up, would recommend to a friend

Very hit & miss. Chinese tends to be good, however frequently disappointed with the chips. Always seem undercooked. Would not recommend.

Open until very late so perfect for the end of a late shift! Staff are happy + friendly - food is good and bags of choice!

Excellent chinese menu competitively priced. Food is delicious and is ready more quickly than any chinese takeaway I have visited. Staff always friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!!!

Really disappointed this visit the chips were dark and soggy which ok is unusual I think for this place but have been using a new chippy down by the hospital as they were doing the Scouse pie and were selling a lot of them!! Busy bee refused to get them in even when asked. Was also disappointed that they now grab every penny they can off you. Charging 5p for a chip fork. Most places give them free. Just tried this place again after swearing I wouldn't because of the last few times it not being good. I wanted a tray of donner meat as I am trying to cut out carbs so just wanted the meat. Every kebab place offers donner meat in a tray and the only salad I like is cucumber so I have that and garlic mayo on my donner. Weirdly a lot of kebab shops don't do cucumber so I usually go to the ones I know that do. On this night I went to two kebab shops but they didn't do cucumber so I ended up going to the busy bee and they do cucumber. I asked for a tray of donner meat and this over weight miserable girl with long hair got this tiny tray out. I am no Victor meldrew and I don't usually complain but this tray was so small I didn't even know they made them like that. It was like a small cat dinner dish or an ash tray. Everywhere else I have been to gives a large long dinner tray with folding lid and fill it with donner meat for around £4-£5. If you have ever had a pie dinner or fish and chips in a tray you will know the tray I am talking about. I asked "Don't you do a bigger tray" and the answer was a simple NO! not "oh we can do you a bigger portion in a larger tray or do two portions in a bigger tray" and tell me the price it was just NO! The annoying thing is the big folding trays were stacked up on the back wall in front of me. She put 4 slithers of cucumber on top of the donner meat which seriously was about max two cucumber slices chopped up and then squirted a thin line of garlic mayo on top. I put more toothpaste on my toothbrush to be honest. I was that flabbergasted that I just accepted it. I just felt so embarrassed and after I left the shop I thought I should of said I am sorry I am not having that and walked out. I am sorry this place was once fantastic beautiful chips fish and Chinese but 4 times now it's been awful and this last one with the donner meat was absolutely disgraceful. Maybe the girl has lots of personal problems but you know I can't help that and talk about miserable and snappy!! Can't see me going to this place again really. The only time I might try it again is if I am on my way home from Southport late one night as it's the only one open late. I would just try the chips gravy etc but if they are like the chips I got last time I will just walk out as I am being served
