I come here most days for a look around. It is a lovely walk through Media City to get here. There are plenty of clothes shops with discounted clothes. M&S and NEXT are usually the busiest and you can get some bargains. There are other shops too, it’s best to have a look on google if you’re after something specific. The Lowry doesn’t get as busy as the nearby Trafford Centre and it’s a lot cheaper if you’re after clothes. You do have to pay for parking though. There is a food hall upstairs as well as some local craft shops. The food hall has plenty of seating and Tandoori Delights is my favourite. I’ll write about that in the future. There is also a new ‘Street Food’ area downstairs but again I’ll write about that another time. The Mall is wheelchair friendly, there is.Bus link and Tram if you don’t drive. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Media City.
This place is a ghost town. Wish we hadn’t bothered visiting, as there’s hardly anything here worth visiting for anymore, and the parking is no longer free upon validation of a purchase receipt. Furthermore, customer services are useless! We put cash into one of the children’s rides near the car park pay machines, and the machine didn’t work. When I visited customer services, they already knew about it, and pretty much just shrugged it off like they were sick of hearing about it with a comment about “oh have you put money in it too”. They claimed they couldn’t do anything to help other than suggest I email the company that runs them. They wouldn’t entertain my suggestion of turning the machine off or putting a sign on it. To top it off, the overpriced car park was completely unlit when we exited to the car. Not very safe for families with young children. Won’t be visiting this place again until it’s been flattened and turned into something a bit more appealing.
Great international food court, some nice shops but too many empty units.
We went to The Theatre part Very nice place. Very modern. All staff at the door and throughout the Theatre were Fantastic.
I visit at most lunch times as I work down the Quays. It needs a-lot more shops but I tend to nip into M&S and NEXT,which suits me. The new KARGO eating area and Seven brothers pub are a great addition to the area with a fabulous outside seating area overlooking the water. The area is well worth a visit, with the cinema and theatre there too it’s a great day out.
Great stuff! Attractive prices and nice brands.
Not huge, but there are a couple of floors. Various shops: clothing, shoes, sweet stuff. Food court with a few options. Parking is on site and reasonably priced. Also walking distance from the Harbour City tram stop.
The Lowery Outlet Mall Now Waterside used to fantastic, with a wide range of different stores and free parking if you bought something in a store. Now the stores are gone as well as the free parking. The place is a ghost town with well over 50% of the stores empty, when I visited last week another was shutting down. It's obvious Peel Group are slowly shutting the place down probably to replace it with more flats.
Been today for the makers and Christmas markets...wished I had not bothered. Arrived to very few stalls being manned and even some of them were packing up and leaving at just gone 12. If the market was not fully open or had been cancelled a bit of warning would have been good. There were loads of people there for the markets and I am sure that's like myself will not be coming back. Do not advertise what you cannot provide.
I haven’t visited the Lowry for quite a few years, so logged on to find out about accessibility and any provision or supply of disability scooters. Was unable to find out anything useful.. Lots of information about individual shops but there doesn’t seem to be an overall information website?
