Took my 3 very young children 2 of which are autistic the volunteers in the shop were excellent with my children even when they were being difficult. The volunteers make this place. Huge respect to them for taking time out of their day.

What a little gem in Hoddesdon! I popped in on Friday with a box of bits dating back to WW2 the Museum couldnt help me but recognised a name within the box it turns out we managed to find the family of the box!!! So Grateful!
Great little place to visit. Catch up on some local history, enjoy tea and cake in the cafe and bring back a gift. Love little Dino! Nice garden to sit in as well
The Museum is a wonderful place for children and adults to explore. Their exhibitions are fun and interesting and they are always looking for ways to involve the local community. I volunteer within the Museum as part of their Youth Panel and also on a fortnightly basis and immensely enjoy spending time there, whether inside the house itself or outside in the gardens. A lovely day out for people of all ages.

One of the best museums I have visited! Interesting collection, child friendly and very welcoming. I definitely recommend! Oh, and there's an awesome cappuccino at the bar. :
