Absolutely disgusted at the way the barrier guard spoke to a customer. Threatening behaviour. I then asked for the wider barrier to be opened as I was carrying a large object … the guard then ask rudely why and before I could even finish telling him why he then said “please”. Must be having a bad day but don’t take your issues to work.
Good access point to River Lea, boat rental, cycle hire, and lovely walks. Plenty of car parking at the station. Regular service towards Enfield Tottenham and Liverpool Street, and north towards Cambridge

Dirty station, people drinking on platforms and being single staffed during darkness hours doesn’t help! GA cutbacks are obvious to see.
Decent station, could do with cleaning up a little bit here and there though as is quite old. Nice staff though. Rating plummets to 3 stars because once I found human faeces on one of the platforms... you’d think that would have been cleaned up immediately!
Not a bad station. Has quite a lot of parking even if it is expensive. This is the end of the Oyster zone and you get a lot of trains coming here from Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale because it covers both the Hertford East and Stansted branches. It's pretty fast to get into London from here and the station has served me well for decades.
Very poor that witnessing a bike theft while on a train as we just started leaving the station, looking on the internet for a direct number to Broxbourne which I was unable to locate. CCTV is not focused on the where the public leave their bikes. So won't be surprised if you have a customer come in today stating his bike is missing. Increase CCTV and all stations should have a direct number on the internet. Apart from that been using the station for years and all is fine. Let's hope they read their reviews

It is a nice station with plenty of shelter but it is a bit old and covers in graffiti could use a refurbishment but aside from that nice station
Nice clean and organised station. Good idea to have waiting room on the bridge over the platforms for cold days.
