Popped out from work for a lunch time treat with my friend. Nicely decorated and friendly staff. Ordered the fish finger sandwich, very disappointed with the quality, over priced at £7.95. Poor quality fish fingers which were lukewarm and NO tartar sauce available!!!! Drinks also over priced. Cobweb and dead spider on the wall by where I was sitting. Advantage bread and small side salad were fresh.

Nice cafe but the staff who are perfectly pleasant need better training than they are clearly receiving. Food is good but coffee very poor. Service is slow.

Great interior and friendly staff. Went for breakfast and whilst I paid a little more than I would've liked, the food was great. Wish there was a little more selection. If I found myself in Burton and in need of lunch/drink would definitely pop back!

I finally persuaded my husband to try lowercase today Wed 6th What on earth happened . 2 tables encluding ours said never again . I am on a diet great Tuna baked pototoe ,before this they bought wrong order Why would you have a small bowl of tiny whole pototes , suppose it was a kind of potatoe salad with a baked potatoe , a coleslaw was £2.50 extra . Of which I didnt order due to the fact of price . The skin which I usually love , I could have broke a window with the outside skin was oiled looked attractive but why ? Next table the lady had the same problem with her baked potato and left it she didnt attempt to peel it off . We didnt complain as they were occupied with the table in front The lady was bought wrong meal and waited 40 mins for a replacement , while her mother ate hers except for a pastry roll of some kind which wasnt cooked . This is why we did not complain they were busy and occupied giving money back for one meal . I have been here a few times for coffee and scone and was so disappointed after persuading my husband to visit .
