A great set up, well organised, clean and tidy, they also seem to have changed the staff who are by far more helpful and reasonable, smart move!
Annoyed. Went into the charity shop and thought i found a bargain. 4 large plates, stacked, taped together, but top plate looked fine. all for £2. i get them home, take the tape off, and the other 3 plates have really bad crazing/cracks all over them - not fit for purpose. their staff tried to cover it up by putting the one good plate on top. thanks a lot. will not go to their shop again. also, i dont see the point in booking to use the recycling as nobody ever checks anymore. why don't they just do away with it.
Booked a car and trailer slot today, printed my booking and took it with me. On arrival they checked my registration and I was straight in on time. The lads on site are fantastic, polite and helpful. I even offered to sweep up some of the garden waste I couldn't help but drop but they insisted they do it. I honestly cannot fault the staff so top marks.

Great place to drop off unwanted goods for recycling and the shop on site is a treasure trove for a bargain hunter. Its full of books, glassware, crockery, toys and furniture all very reasonably priced! All proceeds go to AgeUK so everyone's a winner!
The local recycling centre. Booking is currently required at least 1 day ahead... But it's easy to do. Many different things can be recycled... Remember that the paint in paint tins must be solid or they won't accept it. A charity shop is next door for reusable items.
Booked online and got a slot that day so that was good.The place looked pretty empty so not sure why you had too book but anyway it was a good experience apart from the parking bays were a little small and there's cones everywhere lol
Over the years I have had experience of this type of facility in several other locations, and today was my third visit to this one. It strikes me that all the other places could learn a lesson from the young gentlemen who look after the visitors here. Hats off to you lads. Thank you for your courtesy and help: I hope that there are people somewhere who recognise just what an asset you are.
