I recently placed an order for some spare parts for a stove. When ordering the glass door I enquired as to whether I would need a gasket as well was told that I wouldn't.  I have just found out that I do indeed need this. I also ordered new rope to seal the door. Although I specified the model required and ordered 2 meters of rope only 1 meter was ordered by the employee.  When I came to pick up the order I was assured that this would be enough rope. I have now just found out that this is not enough. I would also add that I was not I formed when the order arrived and had to contact them again after 2 weeks to find out that it had arrived I am presently in Amsterdam at the beginning of a voyage on my Dutch barge.  As a result of this firms incompetence I now have no operational stove.

After a reasonably installation of a gas fire place in my home I have now spent over 6 months chasing the Gas Safe Certificate to no avail I have telephoned and e-mailed countless times with no success and will be informing the Gas Safe Governing Body. Without the Gas Safe Certificate, my home insurance can be deemed invalid - not worth the risk for the sake of a small gas fire! The excuses were endless and no manager ever was available, nor did I get any return calls once I left messages. Extremely poor and suspect service!

After researching a number of companies for log burners we are very happy with our decision to go with Lower Barn Farm. We had our log burner fitted last Wednesday and are delighted with it. From start to finish the service was customer focused and efficient, thank you Nick. The installation was first class despite some unexpected technical issues that Dominic and Paul had to overcome with our chimney. Thank you guys. We have recommended you to our neighbours!

We have just had a new wood burner fitted, and are very pleased with not only the service and help we received from Nick in the shop but also the finished job. Would recommend Lower Barn Farm willingly.
