Brought my Binkie in for her first full groom the other day after having both her puppy grooms done at Love My Hound as well and Louisa did such an amazing job. Binkie can be quite nervous around people she doesn’t know and you can tell lots of care and detail went into the groom. Already booked in for her next one :

The young lady who groomed Archie was kind and sympathetic towards me as I was very tearful due to my boy having a flea problem and looked awful. My dog endured cuts and razor burns during his groom at love my hound around 3 weeks ago. He was prescribed cream by vet who was shocked that grooming had caused such injuries. My dog is traumatised by the experience, he is now nervous and frightened of people. Love my hound advised I email complaint and they offered to check CCTV of the groom, after 3 emails I’m still awaiting a response. £54 for groom, £84 for vet and a traumatised dog!

wonderful groomers, such a lovely shop as well with loads of great dog friendly toys and accessories. our dog came out looking so refreshed and had a gorgeous trim. will be returning, 100% recommend. lovely service as well.
Took my mums dog Mitzi today for her first time at love my hound, before my mum always stayed with her at the previous parlour because Mitzi gets so nervous, I was really dubious about taking her somewhere new knowing I couldn’t stay with her. But as soon as I collected her I could see she’d had a really enjoyable experience & it’s the best she’s ever looked after a full groom.
Mega place. Did an amazing job with our newly adopted Staffy. Our dog isn’t very good with other dogs so they advised a late appointment. We had other groomers turn us away, however love my hound team were more than welcoming and Paris returned back to us with a fresh wash and nails :
Very expensive place to get my dog groomed. Been here many times and the price just kept going up and the standards of the cut started to slip. I found the service to be slow, my toy sized dog would take 2 hours when that is just too long. When I came to get her she was quite upset so I decided to stop going. Good choice of toys and dog accessories but it’s all big brands/Instagram popular, not much local options. A few times I went I was unimpressed to find out afterwards that my dog was groomed by someone else. If I had been informed before it wouldn’t have been a problem but my dog was anxious so consistency was helpful. I wouldn’t recommend as there are many other local groomers around who are more focused on the service rather than the money.
