We came for dinner and returned two nights later because it was so good. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Butter chicken was very high quality, with lightly sweet, creamy sauce with a touch of coconut. And we appreciated the complimentary gulab jamuns.
Great food and great service. The complimentary glass of Bailey's and Brandy was a nice surprise too. I accidentally left my jacket behind and they kindly kept it safe for me until I returned to collect it the following day
What a fantastic experience! Food is absolutely delicious. We had the Gol Gappas to start and had the goat biryani that my wife and I shared. It was accompanied with some raita and our biryani was very flavorful. The staff is courteous and attentive. They even gave us complimentary gulab jamun accompanied with a dessert liqueur. This place is down the street from our hotel and we will definitely come back before we leave. Pic is of the complimentary dessert
AMAZING INDIAN RESTAURANT- SO IMPRESSED this indian restaurant is a top notch restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and the menu is so varied with hundreds of dishes. The flavours of the curries are amazing, so fresh and definitely all home cooked. The naan was amazing, the starters also. Saag paneer is so creamy and yummy. The service was great they were so friendly. The decor inside is really clean neat and smart also calming. The drinks are good. The food is just genuinely amazing you will love it, also the price is so good for the area and in general super reasonable price. Cheaper than the other local indians such as millbank spice. Only thing of note is that starters tend to be on the small side and arent great value for money so I reccomend just ordering lots of mains and sides.
Excellent dinner here, with my brother. Service top-notch, and food great. Shashlik was very good, and copious. Naans were excellent, as were lassi. Recommended.Food: 5/5
Food is good, service is good and located in a nice spot of Victoria area within 10 minutes walk from the station. I went there twice. Started with poppadoms and sauces. Its my favourite Indian starter and the sauce lots are nice and appetising. Also, had lamb chops and chicken tandoori. 2 issues you will face there, the place is poky and you may find yourself sitting crammed specially if you are a tall/big person. You may bang your head in the ceiling if you try to get to the toilet. Another issue the ventilation could do with improvement. Once you sat there for half an hour, you will have to go back home and change your clothes because they will smell of food!
Food was good, felt authentic inside, had great offerings. Service was great!
Top notch Indian food! We always have a great time here, so much cozy atmosphere despite not being very busy, staff are friendly and calming. Great place to chat with friends and can always walk in and get a table. one of my favourite locals its a wonder its not busier, but suits me perfectly.
My family was looking for a good Indian restaurant to dine in tonight while in London. Decided to try out this restaurant. The server puts us at the tightest table while the back half of the restaurant was empty. Then while taking the order he was blatantly upselling which made us uncomfortable as if we needed to order more. Food arrived and tandoori chicken had descent flavor, other dishes were completely bland and basically horrible...especially chicken Tikka massala was sweet with rubbery small pieces of chicken. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with our experience which ruined our evening. We thought London is known for good Indian restaurants. Hopefully we will pick a better restaurant next time.
An excellent after-theater choice since open till midnight. Very fast, prompt and kind service. Garlic naan was delicious. Butter chicken was a bit more sweet than I’m used to… would have personally preferred a spicier blend of Indian flavors. I’d like to go back and try other dishes.
