Thought we'd order a nice take away to celibrate the kids going back to school on Saturday evening. It's been a long fortnight. I ordered the takeaway whilst my wife got the kids to bed with a glint in her eye. She knows the take away is on and she's getting hangry. All set at 9pm to tuck in to some oriental delights but there's no sign of the take away. Being a very relaxed guy I wait until 9.45. It's been a long week for lots of parents and I figure everyone in Norwich is getting a take away. However, the hangry wife's glint turned from excitement to murderous prompting me to phone Lotus House to find out where the take away was. I phoned to be told that they couldn't deliver my take away as I was too far away. 3 miles! They said if I went and collected it they would give me a 20 percent discount. However, it's 9.45pm and I'm chilling in my underwear. The last thing I want to do is drive into the big city to collect a take away. Therefore we didn't get our takeaway and had to make do with fish fingers sandwiches. Many thanks Lotus House. Why did you accept the order? Safe to say I wouldn't recommend these guys. Wife's still hangry!

Placed an order through the just eat app connected to the lotus house Chinese, and was given a reasonable time of delivery at first, then the restaurant then added a further 20 minutes to our delivery time. After delivery time had passed, we called to enquire when they expected to deliver the food to us to be told it had already been delivered to a young girl at our address. We explained there is no young girl here and when did they expect to deliver our order. Twice they hung up on us until I'd had enough asnd asked for a refund. Their customer service is non-existent and my recommendation is to not use this company.

Wouldn't even rate it a 1. Food ordered at 6pm on just eat it's now 7.45pm and still waiting. Delivery time has been changed twice. Checked progress and it say out for delivery phoned only to be told it's not left them yet. Lady in the phone rude and unhelpful. UPDATE Food arrived at 7.50 no apology was cold and greasy. The vegetable curry had no flavour and was soggy. Worst meal ever. To top it if spent over £45 and no free prawn crackers

Absolutely terrible, AVOID!! Delivery time was fine, yet was phoned to walk down the road to collect it. Wouldn't bring it to my flat. Secondly, cans of drink were still the bottom of the bag of food making them red hot and undrinkable. Chips were stale, just generally rubbish. Slung £25 worth of food straight in the bin. When I called to make a complaint I was simply told 'our fridge is broken so drinks come warm anyway'. Will never buy from here again. Shocking food and service.

Lovely service. Was notified when my food was on the way by text. Delivery driver was very pleasant. Although diet coke was missing they made sure to get this to me ( along with a free packet of prawn crackers) Such good customer service. Food was delicious. I will be a returning customer. 😁 Thank you!
