I recently telephoned the surgery to enquire if there were any appointments available for that day. Unfortunately they were all booked. I explained to Jackie, the receptionist that I was very concerned that I was having a recurrence of a previous problem. She was very helpful in advising me to attending Chorley A and E drop in centre, to get checked over, which I did. It was certainly the right thing to do. Thank you Jackie for giving me the advice.

I have just today changed GPs to this medical centre, and had a very mixed experience. On reception, a lovely, white-haired lady informed me of how to change GPs and the procedure for booking an early pregnancy appointment, as I was completely clueless. I completed the documents and returned them as soon as I could and the white-haired lady was taken over for the last 15 minutes of the shift by a very cold, unhelpful dark-haired lady. She made me feel very stupid, and looked at me like an idiot as I asked for the procedure to book an appointment for an early pregnancy appointment. She mentioned absolutely nothing at all and I had to inform myself through my powers of deduction, that I should ring tomorrow to book the appointment: this was even too much for the lady to volunteer. On the way out, the other very helpful receptionist enquired about whether I had got everything sorted, and very kindly let me know that I should provide a urine sample, which should be offered and tested the next day as well as the rest of the booking procedure, (which I swiftly forgot as I have a terrible memory.) Thank you very much for your kind words and advice! When I returned yet again, the dark-haired lady on the desk looked confused and disgusted when I asked her for a urine sample pot and had no idea why (even though I had previously informed her that I was pregnant and needed to book an appointment) and informed me it couldn't be tested today: "only tomorrow before a certain time", (whenever that 'certain time' is..) I have a urine pot and no idea how I should book an appointment, but hopefully when I return tomorrow 'before the certain time', (I'll have to find that out myself!) The very accommodating white-haired lady will be there to provide her help and assistance and not the unhelpful, condescending dark-haired lady!

Poor service always running late never on time staff dont know what they are doing book you in with the wrong person have to rearrange appointments Always left waiting for over 30 mins and nothing from staff as to why or anything NOT A GOOD PLACE

Very bad feelings, you can't walk in and book an appointment. Needs to be called. They can't help you at the reception with the booking. Never again.
