Great venue with seasonal decor, lots of seating and nice tunes and vibes. BUT bar service could be better; they are very stingy with their drinks as shown by my photo. Finished in 5 mouthfuls and full of ice. Security and other staff really pleasant though. What a pity.
Enjoyed my time at Pergola, playlist was great, food was good. They put the heating on a bit late in my opinion, staff could have been more attentive with clearing the table of empty glasses and ice buckets etc.
The Tulum theme is really gorgeous - they put a lot of effort into the decor and it could easily rival a bar in Ibiza, Bali etc. Cocktails were great, staff were friendly and we had no problem finding a table. It’s a large venue and we went on a Sunday evening so it was relatively quiet. The only negative was that the music was disappointing. It felt like someone was just playing their RnB playlist from their phone. Would’ve been more enjoyable to have a DJ playing some house or chill out sessions. 2007 Rihanna didn’t really fit the vibe and tbh it kinda killed the atmosphere.
I don't love this place, but I do like it. Was a good location for a work event, service was good, we had a good area where we could all mingle and the deposit was much more affordable than some of the other quotes we had. It is a bit warm in there...though it was July, the speakers need a little tuning - I didn't eat but the menu options were less interesting than previous years. Beer was decent enough...more interesting than some other local places, though not a patch on your average craft beer/brewery place...but I guess at least half the Instagrammy crowd don't care...just un-Instagrammy people like me! Edit - Pergola should not be sorry - 4/5 is a very good rating!
Their Christmas theme is magical! Loved it Had cheese fondue and bao buns with gyozas which were delicious. Music was spot on definitely needed more music but had a great evening!
Two large, spacious outdoor seating areas decorated with plastic plants, serving overpriced food from five food stands and a large bar. The classic ceviche £12.00 from one of the food stands was dissapointing. The preparation was basic and resembled a school project instead of a quality Peruvian dish. The chicken burger from another food stand was basic. The service in the food court area is friendly and cordial. Unfortunately, the entry experience mimics a West End club, including bouncers and stanchions for crowd control. Pergola is probably a good spot for drinks on a warm summer evening; offering an alternative to the regular bar and pub setting. Food wise, there are plenty of other options in the sorrounding area that offer better quality and value for money.
Lovely setting, beautiful environment and beautiful customers. Shuts at 11pm on a Saturday but turns the music off at 10:30pm. Pretty early finish to prepare to move on for the after-party.
1 star for the food that was really disappointing. We tried the burgers and the macncheese bites, both were not good at all. Drinks were ok. Winter theme and music were very nice! It must be a nice place to party. However we came for the lunch.
Soulless place at the best of times but very sad in the rain. That’s not the reason I’m giving 2 stars as completely out of pergola’s control. Booked for an office summer party and the communication in the lead up was great. Complete lack of service upon arrival however and the pre ordered drinks took 2 hours to turn up
Good good vibes here. Busy but not too much. Very beautiful on a sunny day and the beef taco I had tasted so nice
