Very handy shop up the road from me, I visit regularly, helpful staff. The place has so many useful items but is quite expensive.
A place that has everything you need and things you never thought you needed. Short summary Atmosphere - friendly and welcoming Staff and management - helpful Kid friendly - yes, lots of stuff for them too Recommend to friends and family - yes, because lots of quality stuff and lots of discounts deals too Cleanliness - yes Note - has a small post office counter on the left as you come in which offers you most of the service a normal one does.
Very nice selection of goods, on occasions I have visited there, the staff, have been helpful.Just one or two, can have attitude.Must say I called there yesterday, and saw they are having a Post Office, which is there now.It will be a larger area so I heard soon?.That also is good news.Like most shops,it is the Staff, that brings customers in, and enjoy shopping there.Thank you.
Love the store. All under one roof and with no John Lewis at Watford, Lords is a mini version, but ample of choice in most things for the house..be it gardening supplies, kitchen ware, cookware BBQs, paints, DIY tools, storage etc..and you get to support the high street shops..what more can one ask. Also, certain items one wants to browse and purchase, so online isn't a choice all the time.
Wide range of products. If you need Calor gas, they have IT. Tried the local garage and response was, in a few days. If you have a Sodastream, they have refills. Tried a well known large electrical retailer and they tried to give me a voucher instead of an e change. Plus they supply building materials. And the staff are friendly and helpful.
A delightful country store with some of the most kind and helpful in the County on their payroll. A well stocked shop catering for all needs and a must to visit if you are in the area. One of my all time favourite shopping establishments.
Loved the friendly staff, what a great store, with all of us doing more online shopping it was lovely to visit a store and actually get real-time advice. Clean, felt safe, it was like an up market aladdin's cave
Lords in Chorleywood is very good shop included sell all the DIY useful products as well..Very convinient stores for local customers easy and quicker way to get things needed in urgent. We have now small counter of post office in Lords and quite handful.. not necessary to go to other town for posting..but on the other hand; we need money changing ;currency or money transferring and if that small post office could provide the full service to extend the business ; that would be more helpful for local ...staff are friendly and available for customers at all times.
Staff make you feel welcome, and always ready to advise. Manager particularly good to speak to. Very dog friendly with treats. Large variety of household goods.
Very good local DIY store and more, from paints to plates and cookware to gardening tools. Friendly staff who go the extra mile
