Clean and cosy coffeeshop, good selection of coffees and sandwiches. Recommended.
The Butterfield sits on the Downing site and is easily accessed from Regent Street. It exists mainly to service the academic body but is now open to the public. It's a good place to sit and rest in comfortable chairs where no-one bothers you. Excellent toilet facilities not to mention coffee, sandwiches and the like.
Lovely staff, friendly, helpful and keen to work. Nice coffee and selection of sandwiches ect. Clean and coisy
