Haven't been to Ming Moon for years but we had a lovely night. The food was lovely. Lots of choice and it was all hot and tasty. The decor was really nice and it had all been done out since I'd last been. Will definitely be back soon.
Buffet style Chinese restaurant. All you can eat. You can park your car on the car park next to the restaurant. Don’t forget to validate your reg number at the restaurant to get free parking.
Not been here for a while so tried it again, if I'm honest for a buffet restaurant it's not bad, loads of choice, drinks ok too. My only moan was some seating areas are tight but I asked to move which wasn't an issue and some chairs are ripped so maybe sort these slight issues and it would be even better, plus they still have children going up and picking things up with there hands and putting them back. I know its not restaurants fault but the parents but please try to control this better
Possibly the worst buffet experience I have had.. I just want to state that this does no reflect the other Ming moon restaurants as I can attest to the high quality of the food and service provided. So firstly my partner booked the restaurant days in advance informing them that we have a special needs child... when we arrived we got seated in an area surrounded by loud families with children running around, knocking into you as you returned to your table... we were also sat next to a broom and a waste bin, let me just say that there is nothing more apetitising than smelling other peoples food waste and being greeted by the scraping and banging of peoples food waste as it is disposed off... so if you want to spend full price for all of the above.. well ming moon wolverhampton can provide the service . My partner tried to approach the manager who pretty much disregarded our complaint only to just move the bin.. and I have tried contacting them via email to no success. Over all the service and customer service is disgusting and no matter how nice the food is... the service leaves it tasting as bad as your experience.
Fancy interiors, lovely atmosphere, delicious food, car park is free, we had fantastic day out Kid-friendliness: I saw a kids department with pizza, mozzarella dippers and fries
We were able to get a table at short notice, early on a Friday evening. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is fresh and tasty. We prefer to go here than to order a take out from elsewhere as you can try a little bit of everything that takes your fancy.
Been here a few times, great place if you want a buffet with a wide variety of different foods. Always really nice and fresh. Good service and friendly waiters. Will visit again.Food: 5/5
I do not recommend this place due to the higher price in later hours. The restaurant was open until 21:00, at 19:30 it was no longer possible to take food normally, because the staff took away the food, moving around was difficult due to avoiding the carts that cleaned the premises. I do not recommend this place
The variety of food was great however some of it wasn't hot despite a staff member checking them with a probe. The drinks took at while to arrive The staff were friendly & cleared plates very quickly I would definitely recommend a visit here & plan to go there again
We have just had a very disappointing visit to Ming Moon & it's very doubtful we will return again. We used to visit regularly before covid and the food was always good. Hot, tasty & plenty to choose from. Our visit tonight, we arrived at 6.30 to a very quiet restaurant. We were left standing for a good while before the staff noticed us. You are then asked to choose your drink and pay for food before being seated. The restaurant was cold but tables were clean and staff were polite. The food..... Half empty options, the satay sauce was cold and the chicken also. Many of the mains were such as the rice, noodles and sauces were like warm. I only saw 3 dishes changed for fresh durring the 1½ hour visit. I didnt eat alot as I was worried due to seeing the food sat and it being cold. The noodles were oily and everything had little taste. The green beans were limp with little taste where's before were crisp and really nice. My son struggled as the nuggets were tough, pizza cold & the chips chewy. There was a good choice of desserts and the live cooking stations seemed OK. Unfortunately the cold meals and festering food wasn't pleasant and at £50 for 2 adults and 2 child it wasn't cheap. Very sad to experience this as we travelled 30 min also to visit the restaurant.
