First time trying this strange looking establishment . It gives the impression that it can’t quite decide whether it’s a chip shop or a Chinese.nFrom outside, as the name suggests, you’d think Chinese, step through the door and you’re immediately greeted with a traditional chip shop counter, with some battered produce on display.nnHowever, I ordered a set meal from the Chinese menu and a few extras and over all had no complaints regarding the portion size or quality of food. One thing though and it’s a personal thing, chip shop chips with a Chinese meal just doesn’t do it for me. Only other grips was my prawn crackers were missing from the set meal, which I should have noticed but given the fact I didn’t, might also say something about the quality of the food.nnWill use again.
Got there quite late thinking touch and go whether i get served or not. Not an issue and the food arrived pretty quick.nnOrdered duck in peeking sauce and its lovely, pleanty of meat and veg.nnI'm pretty small so the portion was perfect, if you've a bigger appetite you'll want rice chips etc, but for me this is bang on.
Really liked the spicy lemon chicken and the shredded chicken with chili honey.
Had fish n chips. Lovely tasty fresh fish in an equally tasty batter. Chips were fine. Served by 2 charming girls which helps
Had fish and chips freshly cooked while I waited . Was really tasty and good portionnOnly down side was paying with card so was charged 2% extra don’t think this is legal . Looked it up on Google why do card payers pay extra for same meal cash payers pay
