This was the worst experience of my entire life. I asked for Lycon waxing my treatment started at 15.00 finished at 15.30. It's now 21.10 and my face is still red blotchy and burning. 

This is not the first time I have had treatment like this over 10 years so my skin is used to it. 

The woman who treated me did not know what she was doing. She did not use the protective oil that is used to cleanse and also to protect your skin prior to waxing and put the hot wax straight on my face. Also privacy was not offered I was asked to have the treatment on the shop in front of customers. Which made me feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. 

Let us now progress to the Hollywood treatment I requested where I was taken to a back room. 

No paper underwear or towel offered to cover my modesty again she used this Lycon wax no protective oil offered given. So much pain I had to ask the woman to stop due to the excruciating pain. I have had these treatments done for more than 10 years so am very well accustomed to the level of pain I should feel. 

When I asked her to stop she then took upon herself to use some form of "oil" and massage this on to my bare skin on my woman parts with her bare hands!!!! 

Will I be going back or recommending this place? Definitely NOT!!! 

They also decided to charge me £37 for a treatment that I could have probably have done myself with a better job. 

The place was not clean hygiene seemed NOT to be a priority as the same spatula seemed to be used. 

Not a happy customer at all WILL DEFO NOT GO BACK.  

If service and hygiene is a key thing for you then AVOID this place like the plague.

I've been using Looks since it first opened and have always been happy with the service I received. I would have no hesitation in recommending this salon for any beauty treatments you'd like done.

I went into Looks a few days ago to get my eyebrows done. She ruined my eyebrows making one smaller and the other bigger. I had to point it out that she made a mistake with my eyebrows. She completely ruined my eyebrows and I will never go back there again. i'm very appalled.

A few months ago I went to Looks Beauty Salon to get my face waxed, usually after getting my face waxed there is some slight irritation a redness but after a day it goes away. However, the irritation turned into large spots that have had detrimental affects on my face. They have become larger and darker as time goes on and they don't go away. My sister went to the salon to complain to them, they never change the wax from customer to customer which is especially disturbing as the person before may have had a skin condition which caused this on my face. The temperature at which the wax is kept is also 75 degrees, it should be 60 degrees or below. But, even after I complained they did not do anything, their facilities are very dirty. I am extremely dissatisfied with their service and would advice people to not go.
