The best thing about Longridge WAS the excellent public toilet facilities - which the council recently closed. The other toilet you have to go into a garage to ask for the key for - and they now only have one key as the other one was apparently not returned ! Longridge 'Cavity Wall Insulation Centre' (aka Civil Hall) was recently featured on national TV on Harry Hill's TV Burp ! The 'Cavity Wall Insulation Centre' supposedly does a 'pay as you go' gym / exercise classes, but we enquired and were sternly told "you need several lessons before we can let you use the dangerous equipment" - so needless to say we didn't bother.
