This a is true local post office and shop. A shining example of what a village community needs. I use the shop and post office frequently. I find the staff absolutely amazing. They are very helpful, knowledge and nothing is too much trouble. They have a wealth of knowledge and are always happy to share this. I can honestly say they are the glue in the community and are at the heart of village life. I personally have been through a hard time recently and the man and lady there always put a smile on my face. They are always cheerful and offer a caring ear to listen.

What a very pleasant post office. Friendly Staff, very happy to help, honestly couldn't ask for more. Just wish all of the post offices were managed and run in the same way!! On a side note,very nice home made sandwiches sold from here too, what a bonus.

The lady in this shop is moody and very rude!!! I have been in here 3 times and every time she is the same!! The gentleman in the post office is lovely I feel Sorry for him working with her moody face daily!!! Last time I went in there was a gentleman in front of me at the post office he was talking about A bank account to the man behind the counter the lady on the till was joining in the conversation which was fine until she told me to stand on blue taped line! I must of pulled a face as never seen the line So she pointed at it and said it gives privacy! Yes I agree it does but when yr at the till other side of the shop why are u joining in the conversation if its private???? Seems to be very contradicting as she could here the Conversation and even perked her dull self up to join in! Yet I have to stand on a line for privacy!!!! Very weird! Stick to your till job and leave the nice post office man to his job as he is the only one People want to deal with if I'm honest!!! I go to the school down the road and when I told them about this lady they laughed and said she has a nick name! I won't print it as it's nothing to do with the review however it's noted in the local village that many people use the armitage post office because of her face and moans! I have since used armitage and it's great! Sorry to the man working at post office as your customer Service is great just get new staff in the shop and some of us may return instead of walking out of our way!!!
