I had applied for this univesity and made sure I was calling in and emailing the school multiple times a week to keep track of my application, after months and 2 emails regarding an offer, I have been told that I can not get in as it’s too late now when I had mentioned to them multiple times to be quicker because I had applied from advance already. This is dusgusting I have missed many opportunities waiting for a reply back from this university and all I received was people telling me to wait constantly.there was 0 effort put into looking into my application. Absolutely disgusting do not apply
Currently studying Criminology at London met has been a very warming experience. I'm now in my third year, and one of the standout aspects of the course is the level of support provided by lecturers. They genuinely go above and beyond to help student succeed, whether that's through guidance on assignments, one to one feedback, or just being approachable when you need advice.nnThe Social Sciences school, in particular, offers an impressive amount of support compared to other academic schools such as Business and Law. This makes a huge difference to the student experience, as you feel encouraged and well-supported throughout your studies.nnOverall, I'd highly recommend London Met for anyone considering Criminology or other Social Sciences courses. The supportive environment really helps you grow both academically and personally.
I am a second year Fine Art student at the Shoreditch/Aldgate Campus. It’s a shame to see so many low reviews. However, I think this doesn’t speak to the art department. What a wonderful team of people who are clearly passionate about their students as well as their own art practices. The tutors are always available for 121 sessions when I need - which is pretty often! And I can comfortably know I can meet with and speak to any of them. They push you not just academically, but to see the world differently and question your way of thinking. The studios are small, the workshops are small, but it’s London, it’s what you’re going to get. That being said they’re happy to negotiate space as and when you need. I have really enjoyed my time on this course. I have also had plenty of support and understanding with my disability.
I am a student from the United States, and every year I have experienced serious issues with my student loan disbursement. The U.S. Financial Aid Office has not responded to any of my emails since October it is nearly February. These repeated delays place me in financial crisis each year and cause significant stress. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage prospective students from the U.S. to carefully reconsider before choosing to study at London Metropolitan University.
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my experience at London Metropolitan University. I successfully completed my pre-CAS interview and was told that I had passed the compliance stage. After this, I paid my initial deposit of £7,500.nnHowever, when I applied for my CAS, my application was unexpectedly withdrawn with a 52% result because of an issue with the interview. This caused me to miss my September 2025 intake. The communication and support throughout the process were extremely poor and unclear.nnThis has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a university. I feel that the university did not treat international students fairly and did not value the effort and money we invest. I strongly advise other students not to apply to this university, as they only seem to care about taking your money, not supporting your education.nnI truly hope the university reflects on this and improves its process for future students.
