The room was lovely, very big with a huge private terrace. Was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. There were a few issues which are my reason for 4 stars and not 5. Firstly we had requested a room with two beds but when we were shown to our room it was just one king bed - the staff fixed this within 20 mins, this only niggled me because i was stretched for time to get to an event due to bad traffic so i just didnt have that time to spare! The other issues are, in my opinion, more due to bad management than the staff as the hot tub was out of use on a lovely sunny bank holiday weekend and they were not offering full English Breakfast only continental as had been stated when i booked and which i had been looking forward to. Great location though.
Nothing luxury about this place - it’s more like faulty towers. Uninviting “bar” that’s very cold and makes me rather drink at McDonald’s over the road. Also - what is going on with the rooms - this is not luxury. Would not recommend staying here. Not even a head board for the bed?
Hotel very clean, nice design I think and the bedroom we had was very nice indeed. Facilities good. Swimming pool small but adequate needed to be booked but my wife said she had it all to herself which was a bonus. Breakfast was freshly cooked - none of the usual hot buffet with serving spoons - one ordered one's breakfast the evening before and the time that you wanted it and when you arrived in the dining room it was then cooked especially at that point; a welcome change. The staff were lovely,. Abbie on reception exceptionally friendly and helpful and the other staff were too. I would give the overall rating as 4 and a half stars really, purely because of the following: That is, the location of hotel is nearby a main road not right next to it though and up a drive. We asked for a room away from the road when we booked by the way, a tip - the best way to book is to phone the hotel directly, you can explain your requirements much more easily and they always answer the phone, in my experience at least. We didn't notice the traffic at all. The only other thing is that the rooms are not very soundproof; as others have mentioned this could be a problem, As it happens I could hear someone snoring next door! Perhaps they were exceptionally loud! So, as a recommendation to the hotel - I would suggest investing in a better soundproofing for the rooms. In summary, a lovely, pleasant stay and we would certainly stay there again if up that way - a definite cut above the chain hotels.
First time of coming here today after Michael Fallon's funeral. It is certainly a beautiful place and we were so looked after.Service: 5/5

Recommended fabulous very large super clean rooms. Extra large bed with super fresh sheets. The breakfast was poor, but there is a McDonald's over the road
We have just got home after a weekend stay here and what a stay we had. This hotal is absolutely beautiful and clean, the rooms are a great size with everything you need for a stay and the beds omg they are so comfortable i could have stayed in it all day .It has a lovely pool and hot tub available. The breakfasts are lovely and really tasty. What can i say about the staff, they are truly amazing, so happy and polite and just can't do enough for you. We mentioned in a brief conversation that we were on a mini honeymoon and when we got back in after being out they had been in our room and decorated it with petals, balloons, chocolates and candles it was absolutely stunning and a lovely surprise. Tha k you all so much for an absolutely lovely stay. We will be back.

We came here to stay for 2 nights - staff were absolutely amazing! Such a polite and well mannered ladies with lit up smiles! We were very well looked and every requested made was fulfilled. The pool was lovely and the hot tub was a bonus. Couldn’t ask for a better break.Rooms: 4/5
Appalling service at Woodhouse Farm! Put a dampener on my prewedding day. Have been asked for weeks to provide bank statements etc to prove my stay due to an in House problem which I thought was extremely unprofessional. Ive had my booking made for years as I had to cancel due to Covid. We turned up Friday, we was told I had to pay an additional £50.00 as they don’t have proof of my payment. We was told we was unable to use the pool as it had to be booked which I was unaware of. The girl on reception then said we can use the facilities from 8pm- 9pm. Breakfast came the following morning with no butter, jams etc for toast it was just dry with the egg etc put on top of dry toast. I asked in the kitchen and told them I was not happy with our stay. The staff just stood staring at one another with no idea about what they’re doing. The place is practically ran by 18 year olds that have no skills in customer service. Our hair, make up, photographers brought themselves up to our rooms. They was not brought to the rooms by any staff members. Paying for a bridal package we was placed in 2 family rooms which had ripped carpets etc and appalling lighting. The rooms were boiling hot with noisy industrial fans. I am extremely disappointed with our stay along with my bridesmaids having the same opinion. Certainly not worth the money!
