Great outdoor space, incline from the car park to the top but you’re rewarded with fabulous views. First time visit, picturesque in the snow. Plenty of seats, cafe open when allows, basketball court. Parking can be busy, roadside parking available. Well tarmac paths, easily navigated with pushchairs or wheelchairs/mobility scooters.
Lovely park to walk around.. little cafe doing take outs . Lots of interesting things to see .. own carpark. tennis courts, basketball courts and area for children to play football.
Lovely open park with many points of interest tower, bandstand play area good pathways ect
The cafe even due to lock down is open for takeaway, good value and shocked to get a lovely warm sausage roll and HOMEMADE chips! You don't even get that now when you pay 3 pound in restaurant. I will be returning to try panini and chips next week. Its a lovely walk with added extras.
This is a lovely open space with lots of activity areas. Well maintained by the local authority. The icing on the cake is the café, the range of hot chocolates are wonderful.

Its ok. Good for kids aged 5 to 10 anything above 10 would be boring for them. Very big good for long walks.
