A lovely well kept park, perfect for a picnic and walk. Great activity areas for children with swings, sand pit, climbing areas. There's a charming small lake with ducks too !! Also a cafe for drinks and snacks. Large car park opposite the park. We will be back !!
This is a brilliant place for all ages young or the older generation. The gardens are kept immaculate, and the cafe has a good arrangement of hot and cold foods. Toilets for men and women are clean and available to all no price. There are a couple of child toddlers who play grounds like slides and swings, also climbing frames. I fully indorse this relaxing and stunning beautiful park.
Really good park. Nice cafe. Good play area. Reservoir with ducks, geese, fishing etc. Nice walks. Really enjoyed it. Only comment is either trails should be more gravel/ solid as very slippery when wet. Not helpful that bikes are using them either
Fabulous, traditional family park. Great café, play area, walks, toilets and gardens Mostly wheelchair accessible some paths round the dam a little rough.
Perfect place for children and adults. Great playground and other activities for kids. And a great seating area for adults too. The little cafe there makes it even better. Sheep and ducks add to the charm. Extremely clean too, really nice for a picnic
Lovely busy park, lots of people but not overcrowded. Safe for kids and families. Only criticism is the gate onto the main road should be closed when not being used to keep little ones safe not the gate by the crossing Playground: Good range of playground activities. Clean and well maintained. Restrooms: Toilets in a block, mens, women's and disabled needs radar key all in reasonable condition. Cleaned regularly but users should take responsibility for maintenance e.g. putting paper towels in bin. Dog-friendliness: Dog waste bins throughout the park. Dogs are usually on a lead. Picnic area: Lots of benches and picnic tables. Small cafe Teapot Cafe and ice cream stall.
Really liked it. Didn’t have enough time so need to visit again. Lovely shops.
Visited for the first time on Wednesday 7th August, took the grandson and had a enjoyable afternoon, we fed the ducks and even had a game of golf on the 9hole course.
Autumn is my favourite time to visit the park. The colours and tidiness of the park makes you feel so happy. There's plenty for the kids to play on and explore. Playground: Great, well kept equipment. Restrooms: Public toilets have the expected facilities you need. Dog-friendliness: Dogs can even go into the cafe. Picnic area: Plenty of tables, chairs and benches.
Lovely well kept park. Small cafe nice play area and gardens with lake to walk around. Well worth a visit on a nice day
