Great for young kids , should be even better post lockdown when cafe opens up fully.

Had an excellent afternoon here, everyone was very friendly, my wife lost her phone and it was kindly handed in to the Park Cafe where we had a lovely coffee. The reservoir was frozen over so the grandkids had a great time skimming stones over the ice.
The park is nice and clean. It was however very busy and parking is limited, my advice is get there early if you have little children as there road can be busy and footpaths are small.
A lovely, well kept park, close to the heritage centre. A decent play area to burn off the excess energy of the kids. Pitch & putt available also a small crazy golf area. There's plenty of wildlife on & around the reservoir. The cafè has an array of refreshments & goodies to suit young & old.
Love going here to walk the dog grandchildren love to go in the park and can't wait for summer so we can play golf there.
