We chose to eat here because they are dog friendly. The carpark is decent size and the mountains all around make a nice atmosphere to enjoy lunch on a sunny day. The ladies in the bar were lovely. Helen was so nice to us and recommend the specials menu and really lovely to our dog. The food was so good I was half into rating it before I decided I had to take a picture. 2 thumbs up from me 2 thumbs up from my wife 2 paws up from puppy Definitely would recommend
The starters were quite nice, especially the soup of the day. The dishes were more disappointing, the peri peri stir fry was really not that good but maybe we should have sticked with more local recipes. It is overall ok if you look for a place for a casual meal for a reasonable price.
5 stars from me... Lovely and friendly staff... Just completed the Ben Nevis climb and was looking for a place to eat... The food was really nice, decent prices, ... I like it, definitely will visit again... If you're nearby stop here...
Very genuine pub, easy parking outside and a great brunch/breakfast menu. They didn't have any gluten free options but their breakfast has potatoes and beans, which are pretty good options. Good service from the waitresses.
Good food and pub atmosphere, the service was slow and not nice
Lovely local pub. We got in without reservations but managed to get a table straight away. I ordered the “Not quite lunch” dish with sausages, beans, fries and a cup of haggis. I also ordered a black americano. The place in cozy and very friendly. The staff was helpful and welcoming.
The Lochy is a charming establishment with great food and even better people! If you’re lucky enough to run into Nicola during a visit, you can rest assured that you’ll be very well taken care of! Definitely recommend a meal or two here and for any of my fellow Americans that may be reading this, you can be sure to get an awesome dining experience at The Lochy!
A very nice comfortable restaurant. Service was excellent. The food was great, wholesome and very reasonably priced. I will certainly be going there again. 10 out of 10 all round. Absolutely brilliant.
Lovely comfort food and loads of vegetarian and vegan options. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. A great stop-off point if you're exploring the Scottish Highlands
The staff are extremely kind, the interior is nice, the portions are amazing! But... The food quality just wasn't there. The haggis was OK, but the fish and steak baguette were very bland... I hate giving bad reviews but I would not recommend this for dining.
