Truly an experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend the "meet the bird experience". You'll get a private tour from the owner and watch the relationships he has with each bird. We learned tons and was able to hold several birds from wee beautiful Owls to a Falcon & Kestril up to the majestic and stunning Orla a Golden Eagle. The habitat is lovely for these protected birds and the work this centre is doing for birds of prey is invaluable. You can also self guide yourself around the grounds. It's a must do if your visiting or even live in Scotland.

Quite small and noone around to tell you more whilst walking around. Good range of birds to see. Entry allows you to go in and out over the day, which could be useful. Also if you hold onto your wristband afterwards, you get 1/2 price entry if you go back in future.

this is a brilliant little place! There are so many beautiful birds, all very well cared for, and with all the information you could possibly want. We went on a very wet day, and I was worried it might be a bit boring. I couldn't have been more wrong - the guy in charge (I forgot to ask his name) must've spent an hour just with us, answering all the children's and my questions, even the silly ones. There's a lovely little hut with colouring sheets, feathers, videos, eggs and skulls and more. I went with a 13-y-o, an 11-y-o, a 6-y-o and a 4-y-o and everyone loved it. The barn owl, snowy owl, golden eagle, tiny little falcon, giant Eurasian eagle owl, and all the rest were beautiful and it was amazing to see them all close up. And the noisy Ash made us all laugh!
