Host who welcomed us was lovely and helpful. Room was nice however it was not as advertised. It is advertised as apartments but all you're getting is basic room and bathroom. Entryway is dirty and smell which really let it down and while room was fine it was dirty and could use some cleaning. Was not worth what I paidRooms: 2/5
Dimly lit premises, a shabby flight of steps, a wifi that was not working until someone restarted the router. Initial impressions were a big let down. I wasn't expecting 5 star premises but the advertised pictures paint a different picture. The room was smelling of cigarettes, not enough soundproofing to block the busy road in front of the apartment, sugar stored in a plastic pouch, dirty coffee mugs, a cupboard positioned in such a way that i would rather the room not have it, all of which tell me that the property is just not worth being called a serviced apartment. I read the previous reviews and hoped, maybe they were a one off experience, but sadly not. I don't mean to be rude, I'm glad I had a bed to sleep in, a private bathroom but then as advertise yourself as a hostel rather than a serviced apartment. In it's current state i would not recommend it to any of my acquaintances. Hopefully they take note and make an effort to improve the premises.
Would have given a zero star if it existed. This is a room in an apartment which is advertised as a serviced apartment. Very misleading. I am surprised booking.com has kept this under service apt.section. Saw the room and declined to stay. Owner refused to refund. This is the reason it is a non refundable booking. I am sure many people have fallen prey to this. Multiple reviews on booking.com had the same issue.
Booked through booking.com, a king room for 2 adults and one child. Arrived tonight to find only one bed, no bed had been supplied for our child. Contacted the owner who was not interested and told us an extra bed for the child should have been pre-ordered, the very fact the booking clearly stated 2 adults and one child was not obvious enough for the owner that another bed was required and nowhere in the booking process was there any indication that a bed would need to be pre-ordered. The room was also not clean and generally run down looking, there was a curtain missing and the toilet and shower were grubby. The window sills were dirty and dusty and the headboard on the bed was also dusty. I would strongly recommend that you avoid booking this apartment, which, by the way, is nowhere near loch Lomond.
Loch Lomond is a freshwater Scottish loch which crosses the Highland Boundary Fault, often considered the boundary between the lowlands of Central Scotland and the Highlands. Traditionally forming part of the boundary between the counties of Stirlingshire and Dunbartonshire, Loch Lomond is split between the council areas of Stirling, Argyll and Bute and West Dunbartonshire. Its southern shores are about 23 kilometres 14 mi northwest of the centre of Glasgow, Scotland's largest city. The Loch forms part of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park which was established in 2002. Loch Lomond is 36.4 kilometres 22.6 mi long and between 1 and 8 kilometres 0.62–4.97 mi wide, with a surface area of 71 km2 27.5 sq mi. It is the largest lake in Great Britain by surface area; in the United Kingdom, it is surpassed only by Lough Neagh and Lough Erne in Northern Ireland. In the British Isles as a whole there are several larger loughs in the Republic of Ireland. The loch has a maximum depth of about 153 metres 502 ft in the deeper northern portion, although the southern part of the loch rarely exceeds 30 metres 98 ft in depth.[3] The total volume of Loch Lomond is 2.6 km 0.62 cu mi, making it the second largest lake in Great Britain, after Loch Ness, by water volume. The loch contains many islands, including Inchmurrin, the largest fresh-water island in the British Isles. Loch Lomond is a popular leisure destination and is featured in the song "The Bonnie Banks o' Loch Lomond". The loch is surrounded by hills, including Ben Lomond on the eastern shore, which is 974 metres 3,196 ft in height and the most southerly of the Scottish Munro peaks. A 2005 poll of Radio Times readers voted Loch Lomond as the sixth greatest natural wonder in Britain.
Not much to look at but one fantastic room well decorated and furnished with excellent en-suite
