We went to this restaurant in the early evening and took advantage of the set menu which was £12.90 for three courses, which included a drink. The the service was attentive without being intrusive. There were 3 or 4 choices on each section of the menu covering meat eaters, fish eaters and vegetarians. The food was very good. Strangely I didn't have any fish. If I had to be really picky the only criticism, and it's not really that, I have is that the food came out a bit too 'efficiently' not leaving us enough time between each course. But hey, we could have asked for them to slow down. Overall it was a very nice meal and great value at less than £26 for two from the three course menu. Recommend.

Absolutely shocking experience! I booked a table by telephone over two weeks ago for Burns Night, for four people for 19.30. I was told at the time that we were booked in and we didn't need any confirmation either by text or e-mail. Today we phoned them for a final check and straight away we realized that something was very wrong. We spoke to a variety of different people who didn't seem to know what was going on! They kept me waiting on the phone for a long time and finally, after two telephone calls - after the line went dead in the meantime - somebody saying he was "the manager" informed me, that they did not have our reservation nor our name in their records, they said they were fully booked for the time they had guaranteed us and took the attitude of "take it or leave it." Our guests had to change their work schedules in order to attend, so, to say that we are disappointed is a huge understatement!! It is now too late to make an alternative arrangement and we are left with the unpleasant and highly embarrassing task to tell them! If you book a table here, be very careful because,unless they give you something "written" you are on your own...sad and unprofessional.

One of my favorite seafood restaurants in Cambridge. As a salmon lover nothing can be more mouth-watering than the smoked salmon platter. Juicy fresh oysters are just addictive. The mix-grill is a great dish to get you try a bit of everything. Can never get tired of it 🙂

Went without a reservation before the dinner rush (4.45). From the outside the restaurant looks tiny, but there is plenty of seating. First seated in the first half of the restaurant where the tables are incredibly small. With a request to move I was able to be seated at a larger table with no fuss. Overall the meal was quite bland and I noticed a lot of orders were getting mixed up, to include my table. I would visit again, but I would hope for tastier food for the prices listed.

Fabulous food, surroundings and service. We had the meal deal on that time and couldn't fault a thing. Definitely go back!
