Absolutely appalling—if they’re not closed early sometimes by as much as two hours they take up to 20 minutes to get your prescription ready I’ve often suspected it’s an arrangement they have with Sainsbury’s to get you to buy more. If they have staffing shortages which seem permanent why don’t they just adjust their hours so as not to inconvenience people?
Useless avoid go elsewhere. Choose here for prescription due to locality, go down to find Closed early. Go in the next day first thing to pick up prescription for chest infection to be told systems not up and running so I gave name and number. Then get a text 7 hours later to say my prescription is ready. Great go in during their proposed open times to find it closed early again. I appreciate staffing levels but why couldn’t you say in your text you’d close early. So due to your lack luster way of working I now have to wait another 14+ hours before I can try and get on top of my chest infection. I’ll never use these time wasters again.
Shockingly bad service. The lady behind the counter told me “why don’t you go somewhere else, we are too busy here”. Eventually she took my prescription, but it’s been 4 days now, and they still haven’t prepared it. No regard for the patient’s health and well-being. UPDATE: They called me after 10 days on a Sunday to tell me that my prescription is ready and I should pick it up immediately, because they are now open only twice a week, at unknown dates and times. When I got there, they had the wrong medication picked, insisting that this was the prescription I gave them. They are actually dangerous.
Very poor service, female dispenser was rude and unwilling to listen so I can can explain the situation on how to issue a private prescription. Steps on how to issue were on the document explained that Lloyd's were listed as a member but dismissed it and was unwilling to listen. Do not use this pharmacy if you want good service and caring staff
What on earth is going on in this Country! Lloyds have had 15 days to prepare my prescription. Not only, did they not do it but they haven’t got the meds! These reviews say it all! Disgusting service.
The pharmacy assistant, the woman with grey short hair is just horrid. It is always disappointing when she is there and I have to get my medications. She is never friendly or helpful. She once told me to come back in the afternoon to uplift the medications from my prescription and I said okay. Went back after work around 5 and was told I have to wait until tomorrow. Went back the next day and was told it was not ready. When giving out information to customers please be kind and try give them accurate information or explain further about uncertainties. Today I went again for prescription meds and was asked my name as I began to say it, i was slammed with a paper and infront of me as she commanded I write my name down. My question now is, i am happy to do so but why ask and as I proceed to say my name bring a pen and paper. Is it due to the name not being one you are familiar with? Why were other customers not treated this way? Why could she not listened and then just say politely that it would be easier if I write it or how to spell or anything like that, baring in mind, it is only a 5 letter surname. I just felt not listened to, demanded, and not treated the same as everyone else who were listened to whereas i was asked a questione and interrupted as I speak with a pen and paper. Then she proceeded to walk away and came back to the front desk afterwards. She is never a friendly face. I think customer service course and fair treatment should he offered to her. As someone in healthcare, i think this is unacceptable behaviour.
Never seems to be open and when your prescription is sent electronically you have no means of getting your prescription to take it elsewhere. Have been waiting for tablets for eight days and so has my wife just a terrible service would be better if it was closed down at least you would be able to go elsewhere AVOID!
This facility is beyond awful. They don’t stick to their advertised hours, they almost never answer the phone. When you go there and they haven’t got the medicine you need, they refuse to redirect your prescription to Lloyds Direct saying that it’s “not their company”. Because they closed the independent Lloyds in town there isn’t the same customer care as before as they’re independent of Sainsburys.
I chose this pharmacy because I thought it would be convenient. Nothing was farther from the truth. They’ve been having staffing problems for the better part of a year and I feel for them. However, they’re often closed and the hours are definitely not what’s posted on Google or anywhere I can find online. I’d suggest using another chemist. I will say this time I did have to call the corporate helpline and they ensured I was able to get my medication. That was after three separate trips to pick it up.
I'm shielding currently and depend on a kind friend to collect my medication. As I don't want her to need to go in repeatedly if some items are not immediately available I have been ringing Lloyd's to check first. This month they proactively rang me. I was very impressed.
