Been under new management as Fishguard Pharmacy for a while no longer Lloyd’s. Can’t recommend them enough. Always very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely go the extra mile & take the time to explain things thoroughly and answer any questions you may have. The BEST pharmacy in the area. Never any issues. Thank you for a great service! 10/10!
Rude, obnoxious and they hate tourists and travellers. Hung up the phone twice when I requested a repeat prescription even though they new the local GP didn't take prescriptions over the phone. I suffer with Asthma and CPOD And blood pressure. I will never visit again.
I've recently found the staff very helpful and efficient, which they weren't when I first started going there. I think there was a change of ownership? management? a short while ago, so maybe that's the reason.
I was impressed by the staff in here. Recently I have had problems getting my regular medication. The staff in here went above and beyond what was expected of them to get it sorted out for me. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even when they're busy, and it's nearly always busy in here being immediately next door to the dr surgery I've seen them make time for a chat with elderly clients who wouldn't usually have much contact with anyone. Yes, it gets busy, but even when the odd person gets irate, the staff stay calm, polite and pleasant. Like many other stores these days , They can refuse to deal with people who get abusive, but they do actually try to resolve the situation there and then. A well stocked pharmacy and shop that is clean and tidy. Prices about on par with supermarkets. My only complaint is it's not open on a Saturday. Maybe they can think about doing a Saturday morning opening?
Lloyd's no longer operate the pharmacy. Fishguard pharmacy offer great services.
The staff are always helpful and do the best that they can do for anyone that comes in regardless of if they are rude to them which unfortunately I've witnessed. During the pandemic they have been rushed off they're feet and I just wish people had more patience and understand that sorting prescriptions out is not a simple matter and requires time. Be nice.
An absolute shambles of a chemist. Three days running they told me that they hadn't ordered my ten year old Daughter's glucose testing strips in, even though she's a type 1 diabetic and these strips are of the upmost urgency. We were then left stressed, trying to ring around other chemists to find these strips. Had to then travel 15 miles to get them. A few weeks before this, I was told to come back in 20 minutes for my medication, for the Sales Assistant to then say, " oh sorry I forgot to tell you that the fridge broke last night." Every person that picks up their prescription has to wait 20 minutes, even though the staff are mostly stood around chatting and drinking coffee. Avoid at all costs. Completely incompetent.
Unable to get through on the Telephone, even though told to contact them, never know when scripts are ready, we have regular monthly scripts, but makes no difference. Latest thing is no Pharmacist, so closed Not good enough for a small town with an ageing population.
Wonderful staff always the same very helpful and service with a smile
Booked a flu jab, no confirmation so tried ringing the days before to confirm, phone must be off the hook as always engaged, turned up for flu jab to be told they had been cancelled, no email, phone or txt, terrible service, avoid
