I’m again without my blister pack of meds as yesterday Friday there was no pharmacist to had out your meds! Called back on the afternoon still no joy. Surly in this case as the medication is already to pick up as it’s in bags already made up by the pharmacist ,staff can get them like when you call in with a pharmacist there. Lines of folk again all needing there meds! It’s beyond a joke but definitely not a funny one, as it’s now Saturday so they don’t open until Monday and I’m going away tomorrow until Thursday so what am I to do? Thing is they can’t guarantee if they have put everything ordered in the bag even if the person you’ve sent is asking for your tray’s and the extra tablets and creams. No just the trays until you ring them and told, oh yeah they’re here in the tray can you come back for them? No not today I’m disabled and my elderly neighbour has already been up this morning to pick them up! This has been going on for around 3 yrs now, everyone I know that’s at the doctors is fed up with them and switching to boots. Absolutely useless and frustrating experience I’ve never known anything like it. Why its still in business I don’t know.
Lloyds have ongoing problems with their IT system. This has been going on for months !! This morning 19/12/22 the system country wide is down again. My local Lloyds was unable to issue any medication. Lloyds could not tell me when it would be up and running. A lot of elderly people who had made a special journey to collect their medication were inconvenienced. Me included. Time to change my local chemist I think.
Don’t answer the phone, don’t have your prescriptions the doctors are in the same building when they do find your prescription they take 30-40 minutes to fill it! This isn’t a one off experience, this is every time I’ve been in in the past 3 years
Each time I come to this pharmacy there is always something that is wrong. They don't have the medication, the prescription hasn't been sent check with the docs it had, they have a new system, they don't have enough. It would be nice to have one time where there is no excuse.... Feels like there is always an excuse, I'm on my second week waiting for my child's prescription. Each time I come down I either have to leave because waiting over an hour with no communication is rediculace so i ask when would be the best time, i do that and ups nope sorry still not done. Or simply getting 4 tablets to tide us over.... I'm out now and that includes my spares and was told to come back. I understand they are busy but if a specialist has prescribed a drug that is controlled you can't expect a child to go 'cold turkey' especially if I ordered when I had 7 tablets left with me and 5 with school. Proper management needs to be installed and communication with patients because the number of people coming for the 3rd and 4th time in that day is rediculace. Give a time and have it sorted. Hopefully next time will be better.
Always a pleasure to go to this pharmacy. I happen to be lucky enough to always be served by one of the two lovely ladies who are happy to help. On occasion when prescription isn't ready they look for it and dispense medicine within 10-15 minutes. Only once my mum had an issue where 'meds or prescription has been lost' but when I went over everything was sorted before I even asked.
Staff overstretched. Not their fault however.... staff shouldnt be shouting confidential info across the room. Not impressed. Please call your clients over and quietly ask their details where no one else can hear. The arent cattle
Very rude staff, told me my prescription wasn't there a week after ordering it, but they miraculously found it when I wanted to speak to the manager. They then wouldn't deliver to me, I am practically housebound, it cost me more than 10 pounds to collect it, and it had the previous days date on it, so could have been delivered to me. Only good thing I can say about this chemist is the delivery man is lovely when he's allowed to come to me with meds I have now started using a different chemist, wouldn't go back to this one if my life depended on it.
Terrible service. Staff member shouting out confidential information leaving me feeling embarrassed. Totally unprofessional.
Time to share my thoughts. Possibly the worse service I have received anywhere ever. Staff constantly seem to ignore customers, prescriptions never ready on time .They always come up with excuses blaming everybody and everything other than themselves Does the management not think it is time they got a grip and improved the service to the people of Bacup.
Avoid this pharmacy to get your precriptions, waited over 3 weeks to get a precription to be told its been discontinued, no telephone call or anything, customer services is poor, no refund monkeys in a zoo probably could do a better job, they are all clueless so avoid where you can
