This pharmacy is absolutely useless. My 80 year old mother receives a text message when her medication is "ready for collection." Without fail, and I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME, when she goes to collect it they tell her it's not ready and/or some medication is unavailable. The last instance, she received a text saying her medication was ready. Being wise to their incompetence, she waited 7 days before going to collect it. When she arrived she was told it wasn't ready and was made to stand for over an hour while waiting. My father needed an urgent antibiotic. So much so, that the doctor stopped off at our house on her way to work because my dad wasn't answering his phone. She said the medication was on the system and I needed to fetch it right then for his health. I was still waiting 5 hours later!! Bear in mind that I was the 2nd person entering the pharmacy after it opened!! How long does it take to dispense one course of antibiotics? Completely unprofessional and unaccountable to no one. I only gave it one star because zero stars was not an option. On the upside, there is usually some great banter in the long queue of disgruntled people...
This place is shocking! You have to give 10 days to request your repeat prescriptions. They turn the phone off so you can’t ring to see if your meds are in, so this results in many wasted trips! And very often don’t have a pharmacist so they just close ‍ The latest irresponsibility is leaving a new member of staff alone , whilst the pharmacist and any senior staff members go for lunch at the same time, so no meds can be distributed until they come back from lunch!!!!!!! I am very poorly at mo and really didn’t need this unprofessional behaviour, my partner has gone today and guess what! He has to wait an hour for the pharmacist to get back from lunch!!!!! I don’t know why this pharmacy is so bad but it never fails to shock .
Manager and staff went above and beyond to help my dad when GP had done a prescription wrong. They sorted a new prescription for him within the hour whilst he waited in the pharmacy.
If I could give zero stars I would! Rude and extremely unhelpful staff. Prescription received over 24 hours ago and still have to wait 15 minutes
2 weeks to get a prescription, 3 visits before I finally got it, prescription lost on the second visit, 13 phone calls unanswered and possibly the slowest work rate I’ve ever seen. The one good thing was the shop had air conditioning on the hottest day ever. Turns out it’s very easy to move to another pharmacy which we have now done. Life it too short to stand in Loyds pharmacy st chads, you literally could die in there waiting
Very poor. Pharmacist on duty today 30 09 22 was rude and arrogant. Made to feel like a second class citizen! This person needs an attitude adjustment. Im extremely unlikely to use this place again as a result
My mum came in to the store and was very please with the services she got she was impressed with how clean the store was. And how the staff made her visit welcoming.
Ordered medication via NHS app over a week ago. Queued for 30 minutes only to be told it wasn’t ready and i needed to come back again in 30 minutes. Came back and queued again for another 30 minutes but this time got the pills. When i left there were 13 people in the queue. Clearly this is a very busy pharmacy that is understaffed. Each time i visit there is a massive queue. I felt sorry for the poor lady at the till who remained professional and polite despite clearly spending all day listening to complaining customers. I have now moved to Westfield pharmacy.
Queue on monday evening over 1 and half hours. Lady came out and wrote down names and date of births of all in queue but started at back so those at front were served after those at back. When my name was called I got served before those at front. I went in to store and got locked in - what happens in case of fire? Terrible service and will look at getting presciption sent elsewhere.
Absolutely incompetent. They lost two prescriptions I've put in...twice!!! I've only put three in! No apologies nothing. Absolutely avoid. I moved to midsomer pharmacy who have done a fantastic job of getting me the prescriptions on the day I put them in.
