Everything looked promising at first, had to chase the garage for updates. 3.5 hours labor took them 8 days. Even on the last day I had to chase. With new part fitted, I drove off only to find 10 minutes later limp mode engaged again. I refuse to take it back as can't handle the lack of contact and 8 day wait. Nor do I trust the fix is the fix. So I took my car to a garage i trust near my workplace.. only to find out there was new gaffer tape used to hold/seal certain pipes together. I trust my work garage because they serviced it 3 months ago, so they will remember the condition of the engine and they don't recall seeing any gaffer tape anywhere like that. My car is now fixed and running properly in just 1 day at my tried and trusted garage.

What a fab garage. The receptionist was lovely, they put a new clutch in my car, the job was spot on. Thank you so much xxxx
