I don’t normally post reviews but after such an outstanding service I felt compelled to share my experience.nAfter having multiple issues in a quick period of time with my car plus having no success at the previous garage I used, a friend recommended Lloyds Garage. Not only was they fairly priced in comparison to previous quotes I had received but they worked diligently and efficiently to get my car back on the road again as soon as possible, this is despite they fact I needed a custom part for my car. I also felt assured as their customer service was superb keeping me updated throughout the process which I felt was nice touch and something I hadn’t experienced at my previous garage. There were no surprises along the way, just efficient work and good communication. This was two months ago and I haven’t had an issue since, my car has been running fantastically well. Thank you!!
I have purchased three vehicles from this garage over the past eight years and could not be more pleased. Upgrading everytime. Their sales and after service is excellent.nI also use them for my annual service & MOT's. Their prices are very competative, no hidden extras and any repairs carried out have been done to the highest standards.nNot having much knowledge of the in's and out's of the mechanics of vehicles its reassuring to know I have a local garage who I can trust.
I'd give 0 stars if I could thanks for readingnn1st of February this year I purchased a car from this so called garage, I paid a deposit and was told the car would be ready in a week they would service the car and put 12month motnnWhen I first picked the car up the rear windows and rear tail light weren't working , I went back and left the car for a whole day to fix . Picked the car up for the second time and then noticed low oil pressure and this turned out to be the oil sump . car was then returned and I had noticed other issues drl lights flickering on/off, water passenger foot well and in the boot I was slightly annoyed by this stage and was considering just returning the car however the sales man was apologetic and sincere and offered me a courtesy car . The car was at the garage for 6 weeks after this multiple times I thought about just canceling the sale and look elsewhere . Finally got the car back again and within 3 days the clutch pedal started to stick to the floor so yet again it went back and they told me they couldn't find the issue so would just change the whole clutch 4 days later I pick the car up again within 6 days I noticed the cam belt was whining on start up and a error code popped up on the dash sensor glow plug needed replacing back to the garage again to be told they had already changed the belt so it must just be slack and they will tighten it and would have to wait for glow plugs from vauxhall which could take 6months however they didn't have the correct equipment for the cam belt. So i booked in for a week later to then be told they hadn't replaced the belt and it needed a new one . Half a day later I got the car back and was told we will telephone you once the glow plug arrives . Months passed by with no call and whenever I call its always the same 'still waiting' . I paid £160 for the glow plug replacement myself at a different garage with winter closing in , while in the garage I asked the mechanic to check the car over and to my horror he told me the clutch hadn't been replaced and its actually glazed . I've since email the garage 4 times asking for reimbursement of the glow plug and a contribution to the clutch replacement with no reply . Avoid this place
Same experience as posted by another user. Massive delays to work on car, immediately after purchase . Appeared to be to deliberately trying to run down the warranty period, while holding on to the car for repairs . They had the car back in for repair longer than I had it for the first 3 months. Fortunately the car finance company I used, agreed with me as I had kept records of their supposed work and reasons. As a result the finance company unwound the deal with me and I was able to have the issues passed over to them, to deal with . I would most definitely not recommend. If there wasn't any malintent on their part, then it would have to be incompetence of the mechanics to carry out repairs effectively. Make sure you get everything in writing if you start to get red flags with these people.
If i could give this garage negative stars I would! No customer service- acting like you are bothering them. Very poor communication with complete lack of updates on what was going on with my car for days on end. Refused to give a quote for how much the work would be, and took a week to do a few hours worth of work. Absolutely terrible and would not recommend going here!
