Would it kill you to provide any staff here? Every time I come here, the queue takes 30-45 minutes and is filled with obviously exhausted elderly and younger! people waiting.... and waiting. Every so often one of the several people carrying clipboards wanders over to ask whether they can help. Yes, you could all get on the cashier desk. Three signs remind you that staff are wearing cameras, so they can record the faces of their weary, unvalued customers. Yes, I am standing in the queue right now slowing wasting away.
The service here is an absolute joke! The queues here are longer than the great wall of china and they have a skeleton crew of people working here. Therefore, it can take you forever to do your business here and leave, and you better pray they never have 1 staff member working the desk. If so, you better be as patient as the budda himself, seriously. And best of all, you also get some other staff members hovering around, doing anything but being at the desks.
I had a horrendous customer experience at this branch. What happened to Lloyds Bank standards recently? It used to be very good and now it is awful.
The staff are slow. And this new banking system is not helpful to customers. Cash only at the counter is another way of stopping people using cash. It delays all transactions in the bank.
Has become an ordeal to use this branch! Only one cashier is ever on and queue times are around 30-40 mins minimum . It’s clear customer service is no longer a priority as you’ve reduced both opening hours and staff members. Even the call centre is diabolical. Avoid Lloyds at all costs!
If you’re opening a new bank just don’t do it with Lloyds if this is your local branch. The queues are always absolutely ridiculous, there is only ever 1 person behind the desk and you’ll just waste so much of your life here.
Worse bank ever. Tried to pay two transfers today & they have blocked my account. Tried to pay for things on my card previously & have to put a code in from them. Now I’ve got to go into my branch to sort it out. Not good when I’m isolating with Covid. Added 28/2/24 Always technical issues to log onto account. They are useless. Time to change banks.
This place is absolutely diabolical these days. Pitty it's not on a list of closures.
I had a small issue and needed to get some advise and support and so I popped into lloyds bank in Cheltenham and came across a member of staff Carly Sutton. I explained what the problem was and she was so helpful understanding and kind and reassured me that what I had done was the right thing. The issue is too long to post but I just wanted to get some advise and I got that from Carla and she was patient and took her time listening to what I had to say. Thank you
A lovely lady helped me even though many people were waiting . If somebody is willing to wait cause it is busy sometimes, will receive a high quality service ! Excellent effort by a top brand
