A fair walk up to this castle, but its well worth it! Free entry, and plenty of space to move around. This would have been a mighty sight when it was at its best. Throughly enjoyed my visit, as did the dogs.
Lovely ruins of a 13C castle. Be prepared for a steep climb up a narrow road but the views are great and enough space for a picnic at the top. Nice bit of history on a few signs too. Great opportunity for photos.

Superb spot gradual incline from beautiful beach to free castle visit. Far reaching views of coastline to be enjoyed.
Just a short walk from the beach car park but it's a bit steep so not wheelchair or pushchair friendly, but well worth the effort. Free to enter. Stunning 360 degree views. Nice grassy area for children to run around and explore the ruin. Use free toilet at the beach car park as there are no others.
Beautiful beach, lovely long stretch for walks. Shells galore for if your children are like ours and collect them! A bit of an uphill walk to the castle but we'll worth it. We had the best day out here
Interesting little castle. Nothing too special, but certainly worth visiting if in the area. It's free, with nice views, surrounded by the sea. Best to go when the tide is high.

Stunning castle ruins. Free of charge, iconic views across the sea. So much history in these castles ruins, a great day out for family to run round and let your imagine run wild
