Tremendous value for money, listen to world quality choirs and see the Pavarotti Choir of the World competition, also singers and bands. Watch fantastic dancers, too. And this year saw a fine line up of core week and bookend concerts, too. For example Tom Jones, Gregory Porter, Catherine Jenkins, Madness, Kaiser Chiefs, Paloma Faith, Jess Glynne, Nile Rogers, Simple Minds, Bryan Adams. What's not to like?
I had paid for parking,easy to follow directions and arrived just before opening. Had a walk into town along the canal,beautiful. Gates opened at 5.00 queuing was well organised and went through quickly. Facilities were plentiful. Availed ourselves of some food and drink,the best chicken bites I'm ever had. The venue was quite small, possibly 3- 4 thousand people but loads of room inside the marquee. Paloma Faith and her group were amazing, enjoyed all her songs and the banter. Will definitely be returning there for other concerts, great place. X
My wife and I went to see Tom Jones. One of the best concerts we have ever seen. His voice was superb as was his band and the large live screen at the back of the stage, gave us a great close up of Tom.
Excellent venue and sound. Wonderful staff.nnCash could be accepted and maybe a bit more food options.nnParking and exit was great too
We love going. Great atmosphere. Volunteer stewards do a great job. Food a little pricey. Music and dance all excellent.
