Four star rating is for its view around it. its got a amazing as you can see the pics i attached. The rides for kids are too expensive and they not good either. Its a 3 quid ride per kid. wouldn't recommend the rides for kids, otherwise worth visiting. they got a restaurant and entertainment games at the end of the pier.
Always a great day out with lots of fun to be had. In over 40 years I been visiting here being smitten as a teen to a family man and its just the same hardly changed over the years. If you want a day trip to staying over I'd recommend with Conway and other places of interest close to hand ...
I've been to llandudno pier many times not only as a child myself on holidays with my parents and grandparents I also spent many times taking my own children here we played in the arcades and went in the rides and walked all the way to the bottom for picnics and the kids loved crabbing
This your traditional seaside pier.donuts, sweets and chips are available on there. A few children's rides. There is a cafe and bar on the end. It's ok . The entrance seems a bit run down around the grand hotel - which isn't that grand. On the plus side it's a nice long pier.
Shame it has obviously seen better days, probably was nice in its early days... Although it appears they are trying to cheer it up a bit... Some fairground rides at the front, and an arcade at the end... Trying to encourage safe Covid practices, by signs etc, but many ignored them.
So the pier was good though if your interested in social distancing, this is not the place to go. Apart from that, it was lively and a generally welcome place to be. Watch out for the seagulls though!
Love this town in North Wales. And the pier is always a popular walk for all ages.
