We’ve just had our brand new bathroom fitted and it looks great. I’d just like to say a big thank you to Ashley and Aaron for installing it for us. Thanks again Jas.
Worst housing association we've ever lived with. Lied to us telling us no damp before sign up last July, ill all last winter, made complaint no action, had to go to BBC Spotlight News before anything started happening. All soaking wet wall insulation had to be removed, all wall render is knackered, I side walls got to have plaster knocked off as well next as ringing wet, plus all outside walls, still waiting they've had all summer to sort contractors and nothing started even now over a year after re state of walls, we'll have to move out while it's all done. CEO won't show his face so no apology, our home is damp as hell we are having to use 4 water dehumidifiers at a time in the bedroom wardrobe just to stop mould on our clothes. We have spent over £10,000 on our bungalow making it home, now all these workmen will be trundling through from the front to the back, and to top it all off, LiveWest told us we'd have to pay £500 to remove the decking so they could get to THEIR soaking wet neglected walls, hence why I went to BBC Spotlight News, who will be covering all this once the work is completed. The wet room was leaking and wasn't picked up at the voud stage, they had to rip it all out and re do all the flooring after we'd moved in. We are 88 and 72 years old, this has been a nightmare experience at our ages, they take little responsibility for their neglect, one housing officer blatantly lied to us at the beginning, the new housing officer went off in a huff line a 6 year old stroppy child, appalling behaviour. We've been waiting for seagull spikes to be renewed for over 12 months. This is the 3rd LuveWest property we've lived in, the first was sheltered and was alive with silverfish that that couldn't overcome, as they were between the floors and in the whole buildings ducking. The second property a maisonette the lounge floor collapsed the week we moved in, then the hall, they had to take it all up and put new floors in, the gas central heating was only a one pipe system, so they had to re do all that, they installed it wrong and had to come back again and do it all again, and then this bungalow with all its issues, well 5 bungalows all the same issues so major works for us all. Would I recommend LiveWest to any prospective tenant, absolutely not! Oh, and when you do get a good manager who points out issues and tries to help, the hierarchy move them, stop contact with the tennant because they're viewed as being too helpful! The property was advertised at a much lower price than we're being charged, that's an ongoing issue, they offered 6 months difference in rent £980, so have admitted liability, no, that's not good enough, if I bought a TV in Currys marked wrongly at £1000 instead of £3000, they would have no honour that price by law, this is no different. Are we upset and angry, of course we are, so much so because it's all making us so unhappy and ill, we may have to consider moving, because if LiveWest do not fix all this damp, we will have no choice other than to move and then seek redress via the court for the lies, deceit, upheaval & illness suffered. What the hell is the point of a Social Housing Landlord having a CEO if he's not contactable, not willing to meet with tenants when things go seriously wrong, what's he there for, and what's he being paid for! This housing association is far from fit for purpose, they look for the cheapest option they can possibly get away with, it's not meeting the new housing standards as outlined in new Government rulings for all Social Landlords about listening to tenants complaints and fixing things in a timely manner. As I speak, I have yet another chest infection as does our neighbour, we're both on antibiotics because our homes are so wet. Not good enough LiveWest and CEO, why won't you CEO come and meet us in Totnes regarding all this, why, it's your duty to do so?
This is more of a question than a review at present I want to know you policy on sharing information with a school without consulting your tenant as I can’t find the policy my child’s school called and ask when my settling meeting was and this information was disclosed to them the child is not on any professional plan as this would presumably be understandable I know this may seem some basic information but I do feel as if I should of been contacted and asked before that information was allowed to be said I feel my confidentially as been breached I pay my rent on time there was literally nothing else to say but I don’t feel this builds trust with your client can you send me the policy thank you
Myself & my Fiancé have just bought our first home with Livewest, Isobel has made the whole process like a dream Left us a Card, Bottle & Chocolates as a welcome! and has kept in contact with us aswell as the whole team mentions also to Liam, Kirsty & Dylan who also helped us.nnThank you everyone! You really deserve this feedback! we are super happy to settle into our new home
The worst agancy and service charge I ever had.. this agancy is a joke , I had a hole in the wall because of broken window and when I called them they said this is not emergency repair and I have to wait a few months, in the end I waited 2 years for a new windows in the whole building! Every year they raise service charge by 15% by the law it's max it's around 10-15 £ weekly, but they doing nothing, we pay for staff salary, cleaning etc but nothing is done for this money so where all this money goes ???. When u ask for help or repair they don't bother answering you calls.
