Had a great time, booked seats in the stalls which were very comfortable. There is a bar just behind. There is also a little cafe to get food before a show. The show was brilliant.

A fantastic, recently renovated, building with 2 stages and lovely, helpful staff.  The main stage hosts the big productions which are often written, produced, and starring local talent.  Often comedic in nature and set in the Liverpool area, you don't have to know the area to find these plays hilarious but a local knowledge will certainly help in making them even funnier.  Downstairs is the Studio.  A more intimate environment with a smaller stage, hosting shorter plays and acts.  These are usually for one night only or very short runs.  Every single act is professional and just as good as you'd see in the West End.

Lovely theatre. Staff were friendly. Show was hilarious. Watched Sisters of Mersey. Some of the local jokes went over our heads being southern softies, but on the whole it was amazing. One of the cast did an amazing Cilla impression that brought back childhood memories - accent, voice, mannerisms were spot on right down to the arm swing. Will go again next time we are up

'Boys From The Black Stuff' was absolutely outstanding. Brilliant play with amazing actors. The  theatre has great seating which ensures that you have a fantastic view of the stage. Great bar, drinks and service. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

Always brilliant shows at the Royal Court, each with a fantastic cast. Reasonable ticket prices, excellent box office staff, who provide a high standard of service, professional and more personal than most other  theatre booking processes - and I speak from many years of  booking theatre trips and shows for large and small groups. Thank you to all at Royal Court - staff and performers. Keep up the good work

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the Royal Court. My son, Joe Cowin was the actor in I am Steven Gerrard by Tiptray Theatre Company, which ran for four shows last weekend in the Studio theatre.  The staff at the Royal Court were absolutely fantastic. From the security guys on the door to the bar staff and the ushers in the Studio, they were all so polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and this shouldn’t go unnoticed. Even on Saturday night under very difficult circumstances, they were professional and calm.  The play itself was outstanding. The writing, acting, direction and production was superb and the feedback it has received from everyone has been phenomenal. 5 stars!

Regularly visit here to watch the shows. Always try to get stalls with dinner. Did find upstairs seating very hot and cramped in comparison. Bar area upstairs was nice. Food is nice and drinks are reasonable priced. Can go next door pre theatre to the Courtyard for food also. Only negative are the toilets are down in the basement. There is a disabled loo in the stalls area though. Staff are usually very friendly and helpful.

Just love the Royal Court. Perfect venue, comfy seats, friendly staff and hilarious shows. The ticket prices are amazing and the bar cheap as chips Never seen a bad show yet

Sisters of Mersey was definitely one, if not, THE best plays that I've had the pleasure to watch. Hilarious from start to finish. I actually had head pain with laughing so much. So cleverly written and acted out. Absolutely 100% recommend. 5+++++

It's always a great time watching a play at the royal court we watched sisters of mersey and it was great the  only downside is the seating make sure if you go try and get an end seat for leg comfort it can get a bit cramped especially if you have someone on the large size sitting next to you
